Eternal Rebirth: The World Within

In the middle of the night, a 17-year-old boy dressed in a blue shirt sat in front of a study table, solving advanced mathematics questions. His eyes looked dull due to lack of sleep, and it was clear he wasn't enjoying his studies.

The boy was Ethan Alden, the youngest child of the famous Alden family, known for their extraordinary intelligence.

Ethan thought, "Let's just stop now. I've studied enough for today. I'll do the rest of the work tomorrow."

He closed his book and was about to go to bed when the door to his room opened.

A man in a black T-shirt stood at the door.

Without being surprised, Ethan said, "Hello, Dad."

The man was Ethan's father.

"Ethan, you should study a bit more. Did you see your brother and sister? They are still studying this late at night."

Ethan thought to himself, "Yeah, and they sleep until late in the evening." But he didn't say it out loud. It was obvious from their conversation that they had discussed this many times before.

Ethan's father continued, "Anyway, tomorrow it's been decided that the family is going on a trip, and I don't want any excuses from you, alright?"

He could only sigh and say, "Okay, Dad."

In the Alden household, being the youngest of four siblings wasn't exactly a walk in the park for Ethan. No, he wasn't showered with adorable nicknames and cuddles. Instead, he found himself lost in a sea of high expectations and overachievements.

You see, his siblings were geniuses in their class and scored perfect grades in every subject. Meanwhile, Ethan felt more like the sidekick who accidentally stumbled into the scene, desperately trying to keep up with his studies.

While his brothers and sister effortlessly aced their exams and dazzled with their genius, Ethan struggled to even remember where he left his textbooks.

Family gatherings, like outings and such, resembled more of a science fair than a reunion, with Ethan lurking in the shadows while his siblings basked in the spotlight of their parents' praise.

As he grew older, Ethan's self-esteem took a hard hit.

He was the black sheep, the odd one out. His dreams of becoming a professional athlete were dismissed. Instead, he was expected to follow in the footsteps of his brainiac siblings, as if intelligence were some sort of hereditary trait.

But, this was all about change

As the next day arrived,

on a sunny afternoon, the Alden family was busy packing their things, people could be seen running around the house, preparing for the family trip.

Ethan, from his room, which was on the upper floor of the house, looked out of the window. From his face, one could notice he was unhappy.

He really didn't want to go on the family trip.

Every child there would talk about their studies, exams, and results of exams on the trip.

And, like every previous family trip, he would feel like an outcast.

And, when coming back home from the trip,

he would get lectured by his parents.

While they would praise his cousins and siblings, he on the other hand would get scolded.

ethan could never get used to it,

Sometimes he wondered if his parent took him on a family trip just so they could scold him. As he continued to think, his mood continued to worsen.

He heard a voice, "Ethan, come down fast, we are getting late."

He could only reply, "Coming."

Ethan washed his face and put on a fake smile on his face.

On the previous family trip, when he said he wouldn't go, not only was he scolded, but he was also beaten for making everyone else's mood worse.

So, Ethan could only endure. As he headed towards the car, his mood continued to worsen.

As he sat in the car, thinking about his probable future of getting scolded, the car started and set off on the road.

Inside the car, Ethan's siblings and cousins were discussing their academics, their recent project, and whatnot

 Ethan's Father who was driving the car, and listening to the conversation among children gave a death stare to Ethan who on the backseat of the car, enjoying the nice view of the outside world, looking at trees, and birds, and contemplating about their life

Ethan noticing his father's glare thought "Not again"

But, the situation was about to change, Ethan father who was busy giving death glare to Ethan didn't notice that a giant truck was coming from the side

suddenly, a giant truck came from the side and hit the car hard.

"CRASH-BOOM!"

The car flipped in the air and rotated twice, "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

and fell down hard, "KA-SPLAT!"

Soon, the car was on fire. Ethan watched all this with eyes wide open, inside the car

his body was in a mess, blood flowing continuously from his now, broken leg

he felt extremely dizzy, and looking around was extremely difficult

he tried to look around but what he saw was that everyone was in a similar condition to him, some had their hand broken, some had lost consciousness

But soon, his father somehow managed to get out of the car. He was also extremely injured, but he slowly struggled up and somehow was able to help everyone out of the car.

Just as he was about to come and rescue Ethan, the car that had caught fire burst open, and Ethan's world went dark.

But before we delve into what happens after Ethan's world went dark, let's rewind the clock by 4.6 billion years to a distant corner of the universe.

4.6 billion year ago 

In an unknown corner of the universe, remnants of a dead star began to collect in a giant, dirty gas cloud. This gas cloud grew denser and hotter, forming a disk around it. Small particles of this stellar remnant started clumping together, gradually forming larger and larger objects until they became planet-sized.

No, they didn't just become as big as a planet; they became a planet. This process alone took more than a million years.

Around this time, when the solar system was young and chaotic, a giant golden meteor as big as Mars collided with this newly formed planet. The impact was violent;

had the object been more massive, it might have destroyed this newly formed planet entirely.

After the collision, the planet became hot as hell,

constantly being bombarded by small-sized golden asteroids, which flew from deep space as if they were somehow attracted to this planet.

what was strange was that there were several types of asteroids around the planet, but as if rejected by an unknown force only a golden asteroid hit the planet

The law of destruction which was formed due to the continuous bombardment of asteroids

This law roamed freely on the planet, rampaging and annihilating anything in its path. This chaotic process continued for an unknown amount of time.

But something was about to change, in this place too

Unknown Time Later...

On the day Ethan died, lying on his deathbed which was inside the car, he half-expected to see the pearly gates of Hell or at least a bunch of fluffy clouds of heaven.

Instead, he found himself hit by a golden ball of light.

and that's how he lost his conciousness
