2. First day of school

I got up and see that I was laying on some grass I look at my watch and see its already 8:30 in the morning, I got up and start running towards my school.

'what Am I doing laying on the grass back then, I clearly remembered walking out to school but suddenly my chest feel some pain and I bend on my knees' I thought while I was still running.

'Well whatever, My body felt great and I seem to have infinite stamina, maybe falling asleep on that grass is a good thing' I think while I see the school gate.

My name is Shobu Horokage, I am first Year at Karasuno Highschool I go to this school hoping to become a Volleyball player, I love the sport since my Dad died and been training for it since I was 8.

I have black hair with some strand of read hair in it, a sharp eyebrows and Golden brown eyes, I am 185cm tall, I am 15 this year I was born in January 6th 1995.

I saw the school gate which is fully closed at this time I see the security gate and see others student running around the field probably because they are late.

I asked for permission to get in and talked to the teacher in charge "And who you may be boy?" the teacher asked me

"Ano.. sensei, My name is Shobu Horokage I am first year at this school" I said with a wry smile knowing what punishment I will get.

"You, this is the first day of school and you are late? I will let you be this time considering this is your first offense but if I see you late again your punishment will be doubled UNDERSTOOD?" the teacher said at me.

"YES SIR" I said with a shout shocked when he shout the understood part at my face, I quickly go into the school building and search for my class.

I see a class with a sign saying '1 - class 2' I knocked on the door and got simple come in from the homeroom teacher.

"you must be the desserter in my class, What a great first day of school you have huh?" The teacher said to me while fixing his glass and looked at the paper in his desk.

"You, go introduce yourself, Introducing a late student is above my pay grade" The teacher said while he point at me.

I stood in front of the class and Introduce my self "Umm, My name is Shobu Horokage, Shobu stand for Iris flower not the kind where I want to fight, nice to meet you and please take care if me".

the class just laughed at my introduction except for one girl in glass who just look at me with a stoic face and followed clapping with the class.

"quite down, you there sit on that seat by the window next to Kiyoko-san over there" the teacher said to me while pointing out to the empty seat near the girl I see before.

I go to my seat and nod at the girl and she just nod back at me and looked back at the book in her desk.

the class proceed with a blink of an eye, before It is time to take a lunch break, I got up and remembered something I look at Kiyoko.

I seems to miss the welcome ceremony in the morning so I don't know anything about it, "Kiyoko -san right? Do you mind showing me the way to the cafeteria?" I asked her for help.

She looked at me and nod after that She got up and passed me after a second she look at me "Are you coming?".

I was confused at what she is saying "Why are you going?" I asked "The cafeteria" she said with a stoic expression.

"I um, yes I'm coming" I said while running to her we got there and buy some bread and milk, we got back to class and eat in silence.

I realize Kiyoko is a cute girl who is quite shy, When I accidently touch her hand when taking out bread that I want she blush and quickly retract her hand.

after that I said simple sorry and let her take the bread first, "um, Kiyoko-san may I know your full name I only know you last name, I mean its not like I want to calls you on first name basis but its um how should I say this ah, Its mor-".

I got cut up by her when she said "Shimizu" I just stayed silent to proceed at what she said and woke up from my startled expression which made her chuckle.

"You got a cute smile Kiyoko-san, you should smile more" I said to her not realizing what have I said which make her blush "You can call me Shimizu if you let me call you Shobu".

I got startled and nod seeing her blush "Then I will calm you Shimizu-san from now on" I said with a smile which she answer "No need for honorific we are classmate anyway".

Its my turn to blush at what she is saying "Then you will also call me Shobu and without any honorifics too" I said to her which make her choke on her bread.

I take the milk she had and hand it out to her "Are you okay?" she just nod and said "Thank you Shobu" she said my name in a low tone which I almost can't hear.

I blush at how she said my name and strike back with "*Cough* Its fine Shimizu-chan" with a grin on my face, She blushed and looked at me "Why chan it is better if you used san instead" she complain at how I called her.

"hee but Chan is cuter, and also it seems only me have ever called you that seeing how you red your face are after hearing what I said" I was grinning at how I tease her.

She just blushed and continue eating her Bread after that the class start and proceed with nothing special.

The school ends I asked some senpai on the way for the direction of the Volleyball club, I walked towards the direction the senpais tells me and see many student inside practicing.

I walked toward some of the club member where do I apply to attend the club, Which he point at the coach of the team named Coach Ukai.

he is a old guy with a brisk scary looking face, "Um coach, can I apply for joining the club" I asked afraid of getting yelled at.

the coach just nod and calls the captain to tell him that I am joining the club which the captain then run out to take out piece of paper and a pan then gives it out to me.

"My name is Hidemi Tashiro, You can call me Hidemi ir Hide whatever feels better, fill this form to make you our official member, also do you bring your volley shoes?" which I shake my head

"Okay then, Comeback tomorrow and bring out your shoes so we can practice until then, see you tomorrow" he said before walking towards the coach then the coach look at me for the last time before continuing the practice.

I filled the form and handed it in to Hide senpai then I go out from the gym and walked towards the gate when I see Shimizu talking with a guy.

the guy seems to be in begging manner and Shimizu looked like she is confused at what to say.

'Did she got confessed by a guy on her first day of school, we considering how she looked, it is pretty normal I guess' I thought while walking up to her and grab her arm.

"Sorry dude she got a boyfriend, she can't accept you" I said to the guy and got a weird look from him "who are you? and what does it matter if you are her boyfriend or not?" He said.

"You see.." I dragged my words thinking that this guy is stubborn fool, but before I finish my sentence I heard a chuckle beside me, I see that shimizu is chuckling at what am I doing.

I was confused and look at the guy, but he also had an confused look "Sorry but, he is not confessing to me Shobu, he is asking me to be the manager of the volleyball club because the previous one decide to quit after she got into the 3rd year".

I look at the guy understanding the situation "I see, Sorry that man I thought that you are confessing at her so I decide to help her, anyways we seems to be soon to be teammate then".

I got confused look by both of them "you are attending the volley club too?" asked the guy "ah yes, I am Daichi Sawamura BTW nice meeting you?".

"I am Shobu Horokage, nice meeting you Sawamura-san" which he replied with "Likewise and Daichi is fine, can I call you shobu?" which I just nod at him.

"Anyway, please Shimizu join in okay" which she then nod at him which make him smile widely and almost hugged her but stopped at seeing me.

he left after saying thanks me and shimizu are looking each other "How long will you be holding my hand shobu?" she asked me with a blush on her face.

I looked at my hand and see its been holding to her hand for quite some time "I... sorry I just got cought up at the time" I said releasing her hand and scratching my cheeks in embarrassment.

"But it will be fine if its true though" I mumbled out that part but Shimizu seemed heard it because she blush seemed redder.

"Umm, then see you tomorrow I guess" I said to her while walking away towards the school gate but got called out by her.

"Maybe later Shobu" which then make me blush realizing what she meant when she said that word, I just shake my head and continue walking away.
