"Now let's see the rankings after the cavalry battle" Present Mic said.

1st place Team Momo (As she was sitting on the top it counts as her team)

2nd place Team Bakugo

3rd place Team Todoroki

4th place Team Midoriya

5th place Team Shinso

and so on...

In the end, the ones who qualified for the last round were same as canon and the only change was that David had replaced Mina. Ojiro from class 1-A and Koda from class 1-B decided to back out from the competition as they said that they don't have any memory of fighting the cavalry battle.

Many were confused by this but David knew that this was because of Shinso who had brainwashed them using his quirk.

'My quirk is completely physical and it provides me no protection from mind attacks. Though I have tried to use blood bending on myself and fight using just that, I am not sure whether it will work against Shinso.' David was thinking when a green-haired girl named Ibara and a silver-haired Tetsutetsu joined the participant's line.

"Now that all the participants for the final round have been selected let's start with the 1v1 battles. The matchups are being displayed on the screen" Midnight pointed towards the screen.

Izuku Midoriya vs Hitoshi Shinso

Shoto Todoroki vs Hanta Sero

Denki Kaminari vs Ibara Shiozaki

Tenya Iida vs Mei Hatsume

David Carter vs Yuga Aoyama

Fumikage Tokoyami vs Momo Yaoyorozu

Eijiro Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

"Now all off you go and take a break while we conduct the competitions arranged for the rest of the students." Midnight said.

"We at least have an hour before the battles start. I am going to go and freshen up" Kirishima said while massaging his own shoulders. Everyone left towards their own class seats.

All the students of Class 1-A were sitting in the locker room eating or drinking something. Ojiro was telling Deku about Shinso's quirk and his weakness which the idiot Deku will not follow. Kirishima and Bakugo were chatting while Todoroki was sitting by himself. David was sitting with Momo and he could see that she was planning how to defeat dark shadow.

After a few minutes, Deku suddenly got up and stood before David. Everyone's stopped talking and looked towards him.

"Why was the color of your fire purple? And it felt hotter than Todoroki's fire." Deku said and listening to the question even Bakugo and Todoroki's interest peaked.

David just looked at him like the others. Everyone knew that one should never ask such questions unless one knows the person very well.

"Midoriya asking someone the secret of his quirk is ..." Momo was saying when David suddenly cut her saying

"How did you who didn't have a quirk until 14 yrs of age suddenly get into UA?"

Hearing this all alarms went out in Deku's head and even others were waiting for him to deny the fact but David didn't give him the chance.

"Bakugo you were in his school as well. Did he have a quirk?"

Bakugo made a face and said "No...he was quirkless in school. I have known Deku since we were kids"

"I-I" Deku was sweating profusely and his classmates were even more suspicious about him. He just regretted even walking in front of David. He wanted to leave but David wasn't finished.

"You write everything about a person's quirk in a book, don't you?" David said while tilting his hair.

"y-yes" Deku said.

"What do you write in that book?"

"I-I write the quirks and weakness o-of everyone I know" Deku said while stuttering

"Which means if any villain gets his hands on that book, it's equal to hacking the hero association's mini database. The villain won't even have to attack you, even if he threatens a roadside puppy you will willingly give him the book" David said in a calm tone but each word was like a bomb falling on Deku's head.

"You really are Deku just like Bakugo says. So DEKU everyone has their secrets that they wish to tell no one and one must respect that unless it's an emergency. Your curiosity will one day get someone around you killed and I have no interest in being a part of it. So instead of being nosy, I advise you to learn how to control your quirk because after punching twice and fracturing both your hands you just become a BURDEN" David said as he sat down again and continued eating his snacks.

Everyone was just contemplating each and every word that David had just said and they couldn't even refute a single word from it.

"David, don't you think you were too harsh on him?" Momo said

"The matches will start. I am going outside"David said as he left the room and even the others followed him.

Outside they saw that cemetos was creating a big stage in the middle of the ground.

"This cement stadium will have a red circle drawn inside it and if one participant steps out of this circle then the participant loses the match. The first match we will start with is Izuku Midoriya vs Hitoshi Shinso" Midnight shouted.

The spectators were cheering loudly as they had all heard about the feat of Class 1-A defeating the villains now they wanted to see their combat abilities and also quirk usage. Both the participants stood inside the ring and the match started. Just as the match started Shinso tried to provoke Deku into replying to his question but Deku was trying his hardest to keep quiet.

Deku after a few sentences of provocation replied to his statement and instantly got mind-controlled.

"Argh even after knowing how to make Shinso's quirk useless he still couldn't fight. Luckily he knows that he is being controlled so Deku should be able to get rid of it" David said while rolling his eyes.

Everyone seating in the seats had understood that Deku was really an idiot.

"Baka" Mina said.
