Compatible Sword

A young boy can be seen laying down on a black settee in a wooden cabin sitting on a settee next to the boy was a beautiful women with blond hair brown eyes watching Tv.

The young boy started to awaken.

"Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border,

right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that

thief over there." Athena said.

"Hey, you. You're finally awake you past out yesterday from pushing past your limits in training. Not bad brat you even managed to scratch my face. What was the technique you used called." Athena said while looking at Ash who just sat him self up.

"The technique is called Chidori I watched a anime and saw some emo ninja use it so I thought why not try it." Ash responded.

"Some emo ninja haha smart use of the lightning ability even if it isn't original copying a move is also good but be sure to not just copy moves but make them your own."

"Of course that was my first time trying it so it still needs to be improved on but that's for the future. Since I managed to hit you does that mean we can move on to weapons?" Ash asked with a exited smile.

"Yes, since you have managed to scratch me we will move on to weapons. However don't slack off on your hand to hand combat training." Athena said to him with a slight smile seeing Ash be exited at the thought of wielding a weapon.

"What weapon am I learning first mother? A sword? Maybe a spear? Oh! Is it a staff." Ash asked his adoptive mother naming of all the weapons he can think of.

"The first weapon I will teach you is a sword." Athena answered as she walked to a picture frame and twisted it.

*click* *swish*

The floor underneath the picture frame opened up to ravel stairs leading to a underground basement. Athena then told Ash to stay we're he is as she went down the stairs

~5 minutes later~

Athena came back up the stairs with various types of wooden swords.

"Follow me Ash we're going to see which sword you are most compatible with."

Athena lead him to behind the wooden cabin we're there staying and where they have been sparing with each other for the past week.

She then dropped the pile of Woden swords she was holding and told him to pick one up and start swinging.

Ash picked up a gigantic Woden sword that didn't match his hight at all with ease.

*swoosh* *swoosh*

Ash slashed the gigantic sword down a few times before throwing it away

'It doesn't feel right' Ash thought.

Ash did the same thing over 20 times with many different types of wooden swords until he picked up a wooden Katana but It was strangely longer then a normal Katana.

*inhale*

Ash inhaled as he picked up the sword and slashed downwards however he immediately halted the blades descent and switched the direction of his swing and striking upwards at a supremely fast speed. After Ash did this he started at the wooden sword in a trance.

Athena widened her eyes and a massive smile made it on to her face.

"Ash have you found the sword you are compatible with?"

"Yes I believe I have."
