Every action always have their gains, risks and their setbacks, but this action wasn't a mere action.

Two Worlds,Their Fate, Their Existence... everything depended on an action.

A duel.

In the Cosmos, two individuals are present, locked in a conversation.

"Do you want to go back on your words after the preset terms?"

"DO YOU DARE QUESTION MY AUTHORITY?" Gaius thundered, his voice shaking the heavens.

Mammon smiled faintly. "Authority bound by a pact is no authority at all."

"And who are you mortal to tell me that I can't? You are recognized by some other gods and have their backing, doesn't make you a god."

"True Gaius, I am not a god, but you also know that I am no longer in the shackles of mortality." Mammon declared.

"Even if you will go back on your words, remember that this is no more a mere deal and instead a pact that is supervised by Lady Fate. If go against your words, you will face of the consequences of the pact and who knows, you can fade out of existence and cease to be the strongest god" He added, a sinister smile spreading across his lips.

Gaius face twitched, a mere mortal was challenging him.

"I am the strongest God and who could Lady Fate be to ME!!,"

"THE BEING THAT HAS EXISTED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME." A calm voice yet commanding voice interjected.

A radiance unlike any star enveloped the space, her form shifting between hues of gold and diamond. The air grew still, heavy with an ancient power that silenced even Gaius' rage.

"Greetings Lady Fate, to what reason do we owe you such a visit," Gaius said.

"STOP YOUR PRETENSE GAIUS, DO YOU THINK I DO NOT KNOW OF YOUR DISRECT."

"Greetings Celestial," Mammon said, kneeling while looking down.

'At least a Being who has respect for an eternal being like me' She thought.

"Rise Up Young One." She declared.

"It would be be my honour." he replied, getting Up.

"Do not worry my Child, I will resolve this for you," she said placing her hand on his head with pure Nethra leaking from Her body.

"You may be the strongest god, but you are no match for an eternal being like me!" she declared with Nethra laced in her voice.

"And as for the Duel, it will take place and it will hold fairly, do you hear me clearly?"

"Yes Lady Fate,"

"It Seems my business here is done, and I would be taking my leave" She said walking towards mammon and kissing his forehead.

"Goodbye Child, I hope we meet soon," She said before vanishing. 

'All this Eternal Beings and their troubles, don't worry I will wipe you all soon, One by One' Gaius thought.

*Hmm*

"I hope you haven't forgotten what the duel is all about little mortal?"

"I think I should be asking you that, but well let me remind if you happen to have forgotten due to your pride,"

"Oh, Please Mortal, Spare me the details. "

"As you wish, the fate of two worlds lies in a duel in which there will be ten representatives with me included. Eden and Earth will continue to flourish if we win and if otherwise, which I'm sure can never come to pass, you will destroy earth, leaving the younger world to bloom,"

"Yes, those were and still the terms,"

"Then I guess our meeting here is over Mortal, Good luck on protecting your world," Gaius said.

"It's not like you care Gaius, and don't worry I will make you eat your Pride." mammon said.

"And how do you Intend to that weak mortal?"

"Hah, what can I say, well only time will tell, only time will tell, Goodbye."

Mammon Vanished from his sight before Gaius could even reply.

'I can't wait to crush you and your world Mortal'

But little did He know that he was wrong, and he would seem to regret his actions later.
