Chapter ~ 4: Growing Up In A Magi Family Ain't So Bad...Yeah Right!

[A/N: Eh?! Why are many people liking this?! It's not even good! This guy has Schizophrenia! Are you crazy!... Oh... It's because of DXD...]

--

" So boring..." With a book over my face, I sighed.

It's been over a week and I'm still grounded. If It wasn't because the maid Homunculus my Mother created brought me rather healthy food and water every six hours, I would have probably lost some weight!

This is no way people should treat a four-year-old!

' We're In Magi Family.' The laid-back high voice said sounded out. His voice made me calm down a bit.

" Right..." I exhaled. I keep forgetting that... Gone is the loving family that would check out on me if I don't come out of my room for over three hours.

... Now I'm In a Magus Family that doesn't mind sending their only child in a room by himself with nothing but books to keep himself company. A Family who a whole set of beliefs and lifestyles, the first of which has a desire to reach the "Truth". No matter the cost, using all their assets and abilities to reach that goal, and any abilities gained in the process are a by-product. A bunch of Demons in human skin... These are my parents now.

" Fuck..." A bitter chuckle left my mouth," This is some bullshit... I so fucking swear."

...

..

.

[*Three Weeks Later: 1 Month Grounded*]

" They better not be thinking of sacrificing me to some evil god or something." From my bed, I mumbled to myself.

With a month by myself - I concluded: My new parents are assholes. Narrow-Minded or petty it may seem - they are assholes in my mind now.

' Kill them... Kill them all... They dare do this US!'

' Euehahaha! Yes! That sounds fun! Let's do that!'

' We shouldn't... We gain their trust first and poison them when the time is right... That will work...Trust US.'

' Eh? We're killing just because of this? Isn't that too childish? Their probably just testing us! So steel through! WE can do it!'

Drowning out the voices - I went to my book. A Greek story of Hero Odysseus...In Ancient Greek. Which I can somehow read perfectly.

I obviously enjoyed this power-up. From what I understand, I can read most languages known to man. Basically - All-Speak. Divine languages, I have no idea. But I feel like I'll understand it too. Just a gut feeling...

" Who taught you Ancient Greek?"

Emotionless - I looked up. My blank almost dead-looking eyes seemingly made my Mother shiver and step back.

Masking my real feelings, a truly 'harmless' and 'cute' smile appeared on my face.

" What can I do for you Mother~?"

In seeming fright, she stepped back again. Her eyes were on the rings on my fingers.

" W-Where... Where did you get those?" Her voice shaky, she asked me.

" Mm?" Smiling I glanced at my right hand," These?" Getting a nod, my smile became wider," Merlin gave them to me."

"...Merlin gave them to you?" She asked very slowly. Her normal expression coming back.

" Yep. He's a pretty chill guy once you get to know him." Enjoying the look in her eyes, I continued," Mother is your child now ungrounded?"

" Y-Yes. Please go meet your father in the living room. I'll cook up something for you, alright?"

" Mm, As you will Mother." Getting up, I slowly walked to the bookshelf and put the book away. Once done, I walked out of the room, enjoying as Alice looks at me. I don't why... But her nervousness made me feel so happy!

... I'll have to check into that later. We have our dearest Father to meet, don't we? We can't keep him waiting, now can we~?

..

" Hello, Father." Finding him drinking some red wine, I smiled, as I stood in front of him," Can your child sit down?" I asked.

" Why are you talking like that?" He asked me. His eyes flashing in all over the place.

" Whatever do you mean Father? Isn't it right that your child respects you?" I asked again.

Closing his eyes, he sighed," Whatever..." Looking at me, he inquired of me," Do you know why I called you here?"

" This child does not Father." I tilted my head.

" Do you know why your were grounded for a mouth?"

" Because this child isn't supposed to go to places he shouldn't?" I locked eyes with him.

" That and what else?" He asked, taking a sip of his red wine.

" Training me mentally?"

" Ah! So you do know!" Putting his drink down, my Father laughed. A proud smile hanging on his face," You sure are my Son!"

Getting up, he patted my head," Don't worry my Son! I still love you with all my heart! Your Mother too! So please don't hate us for what happened and what will happen!"

" This child will never." I smiled. So I[W̸̤̆ȅ̷̫̀] was right. It was for training... I hate them a little now. They could at least tell me! But nooo! Just throw your only child in a room and just say he is grounded! It would surely work!

... *Sigh* I'm starting to think this new life of mine is gonna get even worse.

" Come on!" Picking me up, he started to walk in down the hall.

" Where are we going?" My mouth moved on its own

" More training of course!" My Father laughed. His laughter making the even emotionless Homunculus shiver in fright.

Seeing this, sweat began to drop from my forehead...

' I don't like where this is going!'
