Dungeon Wars I am the only one with a divine talent

Chapter 1 awaking

Kyle smith slowly opens his eyes. As he wakes up, he thinks, (man, it's dark in here, where am I? Wasn't I just... wait, what was I doing? Why can't I remember anything? ughhhhh, my head hurts I should look around first.)

As Kyle looks around, he notices that he's in a rather small hall room where the walls look like carved stone at the far end of the room is a doorway that is blocked off by large stones and dirt, as for the floor it's just dirt, the only light is coming from a purple crystal ball in the center of the room, (it's dark in here looks like I am not getting out of here any time soon,)

Kyle tries to take a step, he notices that he cannot move his body but notices that his senses of sight and sound are much better than before, (my eyes see much better. It's like I can see the whole room, what is that in the center is that me? A ball on an altar, the altar I am on looks rundown and broken. Am I safe on this thing? Wait where is my body, am I going to fall and break? well it's not like I can move so what am I?)

That is when a blue text box pops up in front of Kyle.

As he looks at the screen, he sees his stats as well as a few buttons in a display screen that is blue.

(Hmmm I'm a dungeon core now, and level one at that I wonder how I'll be able to level up if I can't move, seems like my Mana and INT is high might be due to being a core, looks like my mp goes up by 25 for every one point in mana and my health goes up 10 points of hp for every one point in health but what dose INT and wisdom do hmmm? A pop up.)

[----mana 0.10x1 for every INT= (1x3) { for example M=mana (M=) 0.10x10=1) (INT=) 10x3=30) then turn M to a percent then multiply by the total of INT (1.00%x30=0.3) take that number and multiply INT again (0.3x30=9) then lastly add the final number to your total INT (30+9=39) and that's the boost mana adds to your total magic ATK,} wisdom is your mental fortitude it helps with mana control and resistance against control spells, magic resistance is magic ATK 39 divided by 2= 19.5----]

(so that's how it works I understand it now,) Kyle then looks around the screen more and sees the other icons, (so there's a world map its locked right now that's a shame, it would be nice to know where I am, ah an inventory looks like I have a gift bag too I'll open that when I finish looking at the inner face whoa world chat so I'm not the only one it would seem let's take a quick look.)

(Well that wasn't of much help at all everyone is to scared right now I'll keep looking at the interface for now, hmmmm a Dungeon shop that looks important, oh another locked icon world trade shop I can guess what that is, how nice a Dungeon management and upgrade button let's look at that next.)

Just as Kyle was about to open the Dungeon management window, he hears a deep godly and showy voice coming from all around him.

Welcome mortals to the world of Dungeon battles, I'm sure you all have questions but that's too bad I'm just here to give you some basic information, now to start off you're no longer on earth, yes that's right earth is gone, I won't get into the specifics of the matter you just need to know you can't go back, now onto the rules of this game.

What you need to do in this lawless world is build your own dungeon and increase your power how do you do this you ask, well it's simple you explore and conquer of course. This world is full of many races fighting to be number one, you humans aren't the only ones here but not to worry they have the same starting point as you all do, but they do have other means to get power because of the fact that most races are here voluntary. Now back on topic we're not just going to leave you in the dark, every one of you has been given a one week protection period only privy to the people of Earth. On top of that a newbie gift pack, I'd recommend you open that first you'll get a ticket to draw an assistant hero to help you through your fight to the top as well as many other things. What's a hero ticket you ask? Well use it and find out for yourself, but do know this, the grade of your assistant hero is all up to luck it can be anywhere from G level talent to X level talent, and yes the grade of the hero you summon is very important it's not just for its combat power but also its growth and information it has access to from the system. If you pull a G rank assistant your pretty much screwed, please note that this will be the only assistant type hero you can draw so if they are killed you won't get a new one unless you steal your enemies, but good luck with that, well that's all your getting from me so go summon your assistant hero's for more information. I look forward to watching those who stand out and those that make fools of themselves, who knows maybe you'll become a god and meet me one day. I wish you luck on your hero pulls.

With that the hall was silent again and Kyle goes back to his thoughts, (so earth is no more, was that where I was from? My memories are kind of coming back, from what I can remember seems like I didn't have much of a family and I don't remember my parents. I'm sure it'll come to me, anyway that voice said a lot of things but I should open that gift pack he was talking about,)

Kyle goes into his inventory and there he sees the gift box, (it's just an old broken wooden box nothing special let's open it,) Kyle wills the box open and out comes 2 tickets glowing gold and 2 white cards.

The wooden box then dissolves into nothing as 4 items float in front of Kyle, (hmm I can guess what the hero summon ticket is for and the resource card but what are mana stones? What is this talent ticket? I"ll read the descriptions first) Kyle then focuses on the mana stone card and a blue window pops up.

(Great that was helpful what to do, I guess I'll wait to summon my assistant hero they might know. That being did say they come with knowledge. Ok, let's read the talent ticket,) Kyle then looks at the ticket and another window pops up.

(A random talent, so another gamble, should I use the talent ticket first? Sure, why not do I use it the same way as I did with the gift box,) Kyle then wills the talent ticket and a bright rainbow color lights up the hall then suddenly Kyle gets a pop-up.

(Wait I can only have one talent then if I do not get a good talent then my future as a dungeon core might be bleak, please God of luck, Buda, Jesus, and any god out their give me your blessing of luck so I can pull an awesome talent,) as Kyle chants to himself his new talent finally pops up.

(No, I'm done, a goblin lord, I'm done it's over before I even got to start, no stop thinking like that I haven't seen what it does, I should look first then complain about it.)

At that moment Kyles system goes haywire (What's going on?)

Suddenly Kyles interface blurs out, and just as fast a new interface shows up, (what is going on, not human what do you mean by that tell me now! What about my talent?) Right at that moment Kyle flashes a bright light so powerful it fills the entire room of red, white, and dark purple, as the light starts to fade out a new system window pops up. (Dam my eyes that was so bright it hurt quite a bit but wait I don't have eyes so would I say it hurt my core? What were those lights and why's the system bugging out its turned orange now, also what's wrong with my soul.)
