6 Chapter 6: Mr popo and Kami

'Father...' I thought as I tried to open eyes, doing so with a bit of difficulty, 'was that a dream?' I wondered as I looked around expecting to be on my bed in the cave but what welcomed me was a white room and not a cave.

"What the... where am I" I said as I stood up from the bed and scanned the area looking for an exit, I eventually found a door and walked towards it.

*Click*

Opening the door I was suddenly assaulted by the shining ray of sunlight "Dang" I hissed as I covered my eyes with my hands.

After adjusting to the bright light I walked out of the room and made my way outside.

"Where in dragonballs am I" I said in wonder as I looked around the air blowing my long black hair to the side.

"Hmm? you have finally woken up" I heard and as I was about to ask who the person was, a green humanoid with a wrinkled face holding a long staff appeared Infront of me stunning me.

'Kami???!!' I mentally screamed unable to control my surprise.

"It has been a few days since we retrieved from yunzabit heights I was starting to worry you would never wake up" the old green man said.

"Wait... where is my father" I said unable to control my body which was shaking uncontrollably 'It can't be, it must be a dream' I mentally thought with fear.

"I am sorry young one, i tried to heal him back to health but it was too late he had already passed to the afterlife before I arrived" he said making my heart wrench and memories of the day resurfaced, making a golden aura encase me.

I am filled with so much rage that I just want to destroy everything.

"Hold on young man, don't let the rage overcome you and make it yours" I heard.

'Make it mine?, I can barely control myself' I thought as the golden aura flared with power that I remember quite well.

"You have to calm yourself young one, then you can make that power yours" Kami said in a calm voice that I could barely follow, the urge to destroy clouding my mind.

"Control is what you need" he said as he came closer the closer he came the more I felt the urge to kill him, I tried my best to control myself but the memories kept coming.

"Trust me and I'll help you with this endeavor" he said as he touched my head with a finger.

"Trust?" the only person I have ever trusted in this world was my new father, and the next people I came in contact with riddled my father with holes and made him suffer, *YEAH JUST KILLING HIM WOULD BE BETTER* thoughts that didn't belong to me started clouding my mind.

"I'll try" I said trying to erase such thoughts with alot of difficulty but in the end I couldn't, the thoughts kept coming and before I could completely lose my sanity, the thoughts started dispersing, my thinking became clearer, my thoughts were now mine, and most of all I wasn't having murderous urges.

"That should do it" I heard making me open my eyes but I was now floating with my legs crossed in a meditative position.

"How the heck did this happen" I said in surprise while uncrossing my legs and landing back on the ground.

"That is of no importance right now you need to learn how to control that power or else you might do something you really don't want to" Kami said with seriousness.

"What is this power anyway and how did I get it" I asked 'i need more information on this so called power' I thought.

"I am not sure myself but I do know that somewhere in your home there is some information on this power" he said.

"My home huh... that place is already trashed" I said with sadness I have spent more than 10 years in there after all.

"ok, but can I know who you are and why you are helping me?" I asked, even though I know who he is,I can't just say I know him because to him I have never seen him before and he has never seen me either so it would be quite questionable if I knew anything about him.

"My name is Kami the guardian of the earth and i do not need any reason to save a young child such as you" he finished without hesitation.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go" I said ready to go back, but I suddenly fell on my knees.

"I think taking a quick rest would be a good choice" he said as he tapped his staff on the ground and before I knew it I was floating.

"Woah..." I said in surprise as I tried to balance myself on the air.

"I can fly by myself, but thanks tho" I said as I used my ki to break off his technique?.

"After a quick rest I'll take us to the area" he said as I flew back into room I came out from.

3rd pov

"Sigh it seems the lookout won't be as peaceful as it used to be" Kami said with a sigh.

"He has a lot of potential" said a voice belonging to that of a humanoid with big red lips and wearing a genie looking outfit.

"He sure has" Kami answered back with a little nod.

"And I'll need you to train him and teach him what he doesn't know" Kami said with seriousness evident on his face.

"Yes Kami" the humanoid known as Mr popo answered.

"I think I have rest enough" they both heard the voice of Genshi as he came out of the room.

"Well if you think so" Kami said as he appeared next to Genshi and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Have a safe trip" Mr popo said as he bowed towards Kami.

"We'll not take long" Kami said as he and Genshi disappeared from the lookout in an instant.
