"What the hell..." I muttered under my breath as I watched every Saiyan team ranging from Low and Elite classes enter their respective ships.
All of the Elites had their own ships while the Low-Classes piled into the three large ones in the middle of the shipyard.
"What is all this, Vegeta? Why did your dad call for all of us?" Raditz asked as he looked around at all the individual teams.
"How should I know, fool? I know as much as you do." Vegeta said with clear annoyance.
"Enough." I told them, walking in the direction of the large ship in the middle of the three. "The only way we're getting any answers is from the King."
"How do you know he's in that one?" Fasha asked.
I glanced back and saw that it wasn't just my team following me, but Team Bardock as well.
"He's the King." I replied before turning back. "Where else would he be?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hurry up and get moving! I want these ships moving within the hour!" King Vegeta yelled at one of the ship engineers.
It didn't take long for us to find the King, all we had to do was follow the yelling. It's strange. I've seen the King lose his composure before, but this was different.
Looking over, I see that the Queen was now acting very weird. The usual cold expression that she wears now replaced with one of anxiety. I couldn't put my finger on exactly what was happening, but this felt very wrong.
"Father, what's going on?" Vegeta asked, his tone serious but also held a small sliver of worry.
The King turned and saw us approaching, his face seemingly taking one of relief for a brief moment before going back to the steeled over gaze he had just a second ago.
"Bardock, Zyleth, you're here. Good." He said, seemingly glossing over his son's question which caused me to raise an eyebrow. "Pick out your bunks on the ship. I've ordered that the training station will be open to you and your teams exclusively."
Now that really fucking worried me.
"King Vegeta, what is this? What's with the whole 'all hands on deck' situation?" I asked.
His gaze turned downward toward me. "It's a raid, Zyleth."
"A raid?" Shugesh muttered, looking towards Borgos.
Borgos looked back and shrugged his shoulders.
"The Saiyans haven't had a raid in a years. During my grandfather's time." Bardock told us all, looking at all of us with a serious gaze.
"That's right. My grandfather was the last King to have ever issued a raid." The King nodded before turning his back towards us.
"But aren't raids only issued if there's something of extreme importance?" Tora asked with a confused expression.
"That, or the planet's inhabitants are too strong for the normal amount of Saiyan Teams to eradicate." Bardock told him.
"So which is it this time?" Fasha asked, her eyes looking towards the King.
The King seemed to stiffen at the question. It was for a brief second, but it was enough for me to notice. And guessing by the look my father gave me, he noticed it as well.
"There's... an object of great importance that the inhabitants on the planet have in their possession." King Vegeta said through gritted teeth, his tone sounding as if it took difficulty for him to even say those words.
"What is it?" Vegeta asked, curious as to what could be so important as to issue a planet wide call.
"Don't you worry about what it is. All you have to know is that this object is of extreme importance." The King said before waving us off. "Now go, I have no more time for your questions."
Seeing that we were dismissed, we all went to go pick out our bunks on the ship. Bardock and I glanced at each other, seemingly picking up that something was up before following the rest of our teams.
Seeing that they were gone, Sela walked towards her husband and laid a hand on his shoulder, to which he shrugged off. Seeing that her husband was not in the mood for any more talk, she let out a tired sigh before excusing herself and walking in the direction of their private quarters.
The King gritted his teeth in anger as he stared out at the plethora of Saiyans gathering within the fleet.
"I'm a King... I shouldn't have to grovel at the feet of an overgrown house cat..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the training station, Bardock and Zyleth were in the middle of a spar as the members of Team Barcock and Team Black did the same.
"You've trained them well." Bardock commented as he blocked a strike aimed at his abdomen.
"Learned from the best." I replied as I blocked a kick to my groin with my knee. "Going for cheap shots now?"
"You deserve at least one." Bardock said as he eyed the weights on Zyleth's arms and legs. "I can't believe you refuse to fight me at full power."
"Maybe you should get stronger then." I retorted with a smirk.
"You cocky little--"
Suddenly, the ship started to shake, causing all of us to head back towards the ground.
"Looks like we're about to head out." Tora commented, his gaze turned upward. "What do you think--"
Tora was suddenly kicked in the jaw, causing him to stagger back and hit the wall.
"Got him! Victory for Vegeta!"
"You little shit! I'm gonna get you for that!" Tora yelled as he dashed at Vegeta.
Bardock looked at the scene in front of him and turned towards me with a raised eyebrow. "You know Tora is going to beat the shit out of him, right?"
"Eh, we have med bay." I said, waving off his concern.
Bardock smirks at me before his face suddenly turned serious.
"You know that the King isn't telling us something." He said.
I nod my head and turned my gaze towards the skylight, looking out at darkness of space.
"I know."
