Chapter 451: Climbing Mount Olympus part 10

"What the hell is that?" [Randy]

"It's like the mud monster in Emas' dungeon, but instead it's an ice monster, and unlike the mud monster in the dungeon, this one has multiple souls in it" [Diana]

"Tchh... It's tough" [Randy]

"Everyone, help them" [Yuki-Ona Queen].

It's a battle between us and the Ice Monster. It's a monster made of ice, literally. Nothing but an ice floor... but there are several souls in between. The mud monsters have sensory organs and all of them are relayed to a central core, this one, due to the interference of multiple souls, makes it chaotic. They fire ice spells randomly. Every soul that is in pain screams eerily, causing mana disruption. I tried my best to calm them down, but Mother Holle interfered from afar. I couldn't reach her because of the ice monster.

"Flaming sword!" [Nar]

"Blazing axe!" [Randy]

"Inferno Wave" [Joseph]

"Meow!" [Fie]

The four of them quickly try to subdue the ice monster. The hot fire magic is less effective in this environment, which favours ice magic. Fie even uses fire and rock magic at the same time to melt and shatter the ice monster, but it's no use as Mother Holle keeps healing the ice monster.

"It's getting away" [Falmer]

"Diana! Go!" [Nar]

"Are you sure?" [Diana]

"I am. She may be in an advantageous position now, but even she knew she couldn't delay the sacrifice of Princess Ayaka any longer. It's worrying, but go with Fie!" [Nar]

"Right! Fie, let's go" [Diana]

"Meow" [Fie]

"I'll go with her" [Yuki-Ona Queen]

The three of us quickly go after Mother Holle. Not surprisingly, the ice monster doesn't target us as much as the others, since we don't have bad intentions towards the ice monster, but rather towards Mother Holle. Of course, if we just leave it alone, Mother Holle will take advantage of it and use it to surprise us, so we need to take care of it as well.

This ice cave is big. When I'm on holiday, I'll definitely play with Echo, but not now. Mother Holle mana is just up ahead and I can feel another person, likely Princess Ayaka

"Watch out!" [Diana]

I quickly set up a barrier of fire and stone as Mother Holle attacks us with her ice and tar magic. She keeps attacking us with blizzard magic. It's hard to move forward. It's not just blizzard magic. It is mixed with Ice Spear, Ice Javelin, Ice Arrow, Ice Chandelier and several other ice spells.

"Save your mana. Let me do it" [Yuki-Ona Queen].

The Yuki-Ona Queen uses an ice spell that's hard to explain. According to her, the ice spell here in the cave, the ice spell used by Mother Holle, she can catch a certain frequency of it. As soon as she gets a certain frequency that matches, she just lets out her breath and takes out her umbrella, swings it gracefully and says

"Just like that you stop the blizzard spell... Just the tar spell left! Fie!" [Diana]

"Meow!" [Fie]

Only Mother Holle's tar magic needs to be dealt with, and Fie does it easily by using his earthly rock form to bombard the tar magic with rock magic. The disruption of ice mana on Mother Holle's side also slightly affected her tar magic, so we take full advantage of it as we move forward until

"Princess Ayaka... Ice Wall!" [Diana]

"To think that I will have two fine specimens, and an elemental cat as well as a Yuki Ona Queen. My luck just keeps getting better" [Mother Holle].

Her smile is terrifying. She has obviously used her witch art to inflict nightmares with her smile. The spell doesn't really work, but she's scary enough to send shivers down my spine. Her hysterical laugh. The suffering souls with her. The smell of blood mixed with the snow. Her horrible miasma soaking the room. It's nothing but horrible.

"My junior, how about you sit down and we have a talk" [Mother Holle].

"Genesis Magic: Genesis Arrow!" [Diana]

My control is definitely improving. It still uses a lot of my mana when I use Genesis Magic, but it's not nearly as draining as Genesis Constellation Magic. Mother Holle tries to block it at first, but she is surprised that the Genesis Arrow simply passes through her spell.

"That spell... What is it..." [Mother Holle]

A direct hit! She was stunned and couldn't really understand why all her spells and witch art were being neutralised by my Genesis magic.

(This child... How terrifying...) [Yuki-Ona Queen]
