Lenny could some what hear the happening outside, but neither his ears nor his mind was in any condition to listen to the commotion. 

His body was literally burning from the inside out. he had only just advanced his soul into becoming a yellow soul. However, because of the poison, he could feel his soul alternating between colors green and yellow. 

Obviously, the diamond fruit effects was still there, but the purple flames were fighting it. Coupled with the fact that the current Lenny had very little control on his Holy power, he could barely defend himself against the purple flames. 

Kanada saw what was happening and decided to take drastic measures. She waved her hands, pulling together, fate strings from the ethereal, and then binding them together.

And then the bind they formed, she placed it on his chest. the aim for this was simple.
