A/N: Ok so far everyone loves the Raven x Cleo pairing followed by Anya x Cleo then Raven x Cleo x Lincoln. There have also been requests for Lexa which don't get me wrong Lexa's character is great and Alicia Debnam-Carey is gorgeous but there's a shit ton of fanfic about her already, so sorry not sorry she's not an option for Cleo. I'm wondering if I should just go with making a triad but one made of a primary and secondary partner. This makes it so they have a male partner involved even if only with Cleo because of the Ark and maybe a kink where the primary partner enjoys watching or double teaming Cleo. Anyways, I have my reasons and it mostly leads back to what is known of the Ark, the council, their laws, and how that would all works once on Earth.

The walk hadn't changed much from the show aside from Octavia no longer flirting back with Finn and instead turning a bit of that attention on Jasper and Monty causing me to roll my eyes. Walking down a dirt hill I listen as the guys try to figure out why we were sent down, Octavia ignores them though and tries to make me smile by dancing around me.

"It wasn't a satellite. The Ark is dying. At the current population level, there's roughly 3 months left of life support, maybe 4 now that we're gone." Clarke says making her way to the front of the group.

"So that was the secret they locked you up to keep, why they kept you in solitary, floated your old man?" Finn asks and Clarke tells them how her father had been the one to discover the flaw and how he wanted to tell the people of the Ark but the council disagreed and floated him when 'Wells' told them he was planning to do so anyways. In truth, I wasn't so sure if that was still true thinking back to the differences between the show and the book. It could honestly go either way as book Wells was the one who told but in the show he was actually covering for Clarke's mom so she didn't end up feeling like she lost both her parents.

"They're gonna kill more people aren't they?" Monty asks when Clarke finished speaking.

"Good." Octavia says. "After what they did to me and Cleo, I say, float them all."

"Octavia!" I raise my voice, surprising her. "The council is made up of less then a dozen people and you would blame everyone because of a few? You would blame the guards that helped us with our assignments and made sure we stayed together? The few friends that didn't come down with us? Their families? Children? Babies? Think before you speak O! That attitude of yours is gonna get us in trouble some day that even I might not be able to get us out of." I say thinking over how she had ended up in the show even if I blamed the whole Blodreina crap on Abby considering the cannibalism was her idea in the first place. I swear if that bitch comes anywhere near my sister with her bullshit I'll slit her fucking throat.

Octavia storms off, shaking her head as she takes in what I said as Finn talks more with Clarke, leading to the two having a moment that has me frowning. I had thought it was bad enough on the show after rewatching after knowing about Raven but seeing it in person was worse especially considering I had told Clarke just hours ago that he was seeing someone that was back on the Ark.

Lost in my thoughts as I grit my teeth in annoyance especially when Finn tells Clarke to take off her clothes so they can join Octavia in the water. Wait wasn't something supposed to happen before Jasper gets speared? I only snap back to attention when I hear Jasper yell. "Octavia, get out of the water. Get out of the water now!"

My eyes focus on my sister before moving behind her where something cause the water to ripple as it make its way toward her. Octavia turns to look as I scream her name as I catch sight of something that looks to be a cross between a snake and an eel swimming towards her. My body moves automatically. "Cleo, no!" Clarke yells as she tries to stop me seconds too late as I dive in towards where it seems to be moving to after it latches onto her, pulling her beneath the water. A hunting knife appearing in my hand as it releases her and turns back in my direction.

"Cleo what are you doing?! Guys help me!" Clarke screeches from the small rock cliff behind me as Octavia sputters out water, arms flapping in the water. Keeping my eyes on the snake, I jab at its head with the knife as it tries to latch its mouth onto my leg. The creature whacks its tail around to strike me in my side before I hear a splash coming from the other's direction. The snake tries to swim there but as it passes to launch another attack I swing my leg over as if to ride it and with it gripped between my thighs my blade slices off its head.

"Holy shit." Jasper says as he takes in the sight as I drag the thing's heavy ass body out of the water after getting rid of the hunting knife and replacing it with a flint knife so as not to give away my weird and extremely useful power. Dragging it is a hell of a lot easier in the water then it is on land but I manage it well enough especially when Monty and Jasper help.

"What were you thinking? And why the hell do you have a knife?"

"I was thinking my sister needed me I'm sure being an only child and all you've never had that thought but for someone who does it kind of takes over you." Especially considering she reminded me of my little sister in my last life, damnit don't think about it. I already mourned my old life and my enhanced mental process made it easier to deal with the loss. "Now get out of me way so I can check her over." I tell Clarke knocking my shoulder into hers as I drop the heavy ass snake or rather eel on the ground so it can continue draining.

"I can't believe you killed it." Octavia says wide eyed as I finish wrapping her leg with the portion of shirt I'd cut off.

"You never answered me. Why do you have a knife?" Clarke scowls as she hovers nearby but out of arms reach with Finn next to her. Out of the corner of my eye I see Jasper look at Clarke slightly confused as to why it mattered and Monty frowning at the blonde.

"Do you know what everyone's crimes were?"

"Why are you changing the subject?"

"If you answer my question it'll start making sense." I say giving her a stern look. God why was I stuck dealing with an idiot.

"No, I don't. Probably stealing or getting into fights. Why does it even matter?" She huffs and I sigh in annoyance as I pinch the bridge of my nose trying to keep my temper.

"Kobel is in for attempted murder, he beat his ex so bad he needed surgery and was left blind in his right eye. Thompson, Jones, and Newley took turns raping 2 girls they drugged. Dax choked a girl to death for rejecting him before bashing in her father's skull when he tried to save her." They all look at me horrified by what I'm saying. "Those are just the worst cases I know but I don't know everyone's crimes and I'd rather be prepared then not if someone tries to come after me and mine. I said it back at the drop ship and I'll say it again more clearly this time, since you seemed to miss it last time. Bellamy and Octavia, my family, comes first and I won't let anyone endanger them even if that means striking out on our own. If I need to drag them screaming and kicking by their fucking hair to get them to safety I will do it, damn the consequences, because they would do the exact same thing if it was me. We already lost our mother, none of have a clue who the hell our fathers are, and now we're on Earth where just about anything living can kill us if we're not careful. I'm not losing them too. So any other stupid questions Clarke?"

"Um, not Clarke and not really sure if it's stupid but how exactly did you get a knife?" Monty jumps in with his question and I take it out of my pocket handing it to him, blade faced toward me so as not to scare him. "Is this a piece of rock and pieces of wood splintered together ties together? You made this?!"

"Woah!" Jasper looks at it, impressed.

"Only you Cleo." Octavia whispers as she leans into my side, exasperation and amazement mixed in her tone.

"Grab the piece of parachute we brought with us and fill it with water."

"What? Why?" Finn looks at me like I've lost my mind and I roll my eyes.

"Because that thing that attacked is an eel. More importantly is that it's roughly ten feet long, two feet wide, and over two hundred pounds of edible fish. We're going back to the drop ship. We have food and I need to make sure Octavia doesn't have any adverse affects from the things bite if it's mutated like the deer was which might mean it's poisonous seeing as it looks to be some sort of crossbreed between an eel and a snake if the scales are anything to go by."

"It might be poisonous and you want us to eat it?!" Finn screams.

"The bite would be poisonous. Snakes carry venom in their glands which are located in their head. Or more simply me cut off head, no poison, no poison mean eat eat. Get it now Finn?" I glare as Octavia, Jasper, and Monty try to hold back their laughs as Clarke rolls her eyes.

I still think we should head to Mount Weather." Clarke says before Finn can respond, a hand on his arm.

"Why?" Monty looks at her confused. "We were only going there for food and now we have it. Besides Cleo is right we need to get Octavia back. If that thing's bite was poisonous then we need to get her somewhere safe where we can treat her. I noticed some medicinal plants on our way here and if we keep heading to Mount Weather there's no guarantee there'll be any growing in that direction."

"I'm with Monty, like I said earlier he knows his pharmaceutical. If there was poison then that means we'd have to carry the food from Mount Weather, Octavia, and the eel. It took three of us just to pull that thing all the way out of the water." Jasper jumps in.

"The eel will go bad in 6-12 hours since I've bled it but it hasn't been gutted so it's pretty simple. We have two choices. Option A is we head to Mount Weather risking Octavia and everyone else's safety meaning only we eat tonight while leaving hundreds of pounds of fish to rot while the others back at the drop ship to go hungry, unless it miraculously starts raining food. Option B is we head back and everyone eats tonight and we possibly make jerky out of whatever isn't eaten, giving us food for tomorrow maybe even a day or two after."

The walk back was quiet as we made our way back towards the drop ship while trying to stick to flat terrain. I still wouldn't breathe a sigh of relief til we were back. My mind kept racing while thinking of a way to make it so everyone found out about the grounders now that Jasper hopefully wasn't going to get speared. Maybe I could make it look like I was attacked tonight after we got back? But the others might just turn on each other saying that it was one of the 100. What could I do? Ideas floated through my mind when halfway back to camp I caught sight of something moving between the trees to the left of us.

"What the? Duck!" I screamed and everyone dropped as a spear flew just over my head and Monty's as I pulled him down with me. The spear buried itself into a tree and I threw my knife in their direction, already purchasing another which dropped into my pocket. The man with dark paint on his pale face stepped back with a grunt before running off.

"We're not alone." Clarke says.

"Seriously? Like we couldn't all see that?" Octavia looks at the blonde annoyed and scared. "Are you two ok?" My sister asks looking me over to make sure I wasn't hurt as Jasper questions Monty.

"I'm good Cleo pulled me down with her."

"I'm alright. Grab the fish I'll get the spear. We need to warn everyone and that thing is how we make sure they believe us." I tell them.
