You lay in your dimly lit cell staring at the wall, there was nothing special about the wall, it was just you had nothing better to do. Suddenly your cell door opened. 'Another poor soul who shall be slaughtered by me again I assume.' You thought as you sat up. You looked over at the door and instead of the usual male or female dressed in an orange jumpsuit, you saw a man dressed in a long dark cloak and a bird-like mask, for some odd reason this man made you afraid. You clutched your h/c hair and screamed, rather loudly too. You kept screaming for about 5 minutes before you felt gentle hands rest on your shoulders. "I am not here to hurt you, there is no need to be afraid of me, my child." Such a gentle and kind voice almost like...him. You let go of your hair and open your eyes. "May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" Your voice was quiet and frail due to the amount of screaming you had done. "You may call me whatever you desire." The man folds his arms behind his back. "Oh, okay. I'd like to call you Poli." You stand up, you were pretty short to put it into perspective, if you were to hug Poli your face would be resting on his stomach. "I like that name. Now may I know your name?" Poli asks. "Y/n. That's my name." You reply. "Such a lovely name befitting such a lovely girl," Poli says with a jovial tone. "Oh, thank you." You blush slightly. From then on you and Poli continued to talk, you learned quite a lot about Poli, including his struggles to cure a plague that runs rampant in the facility you were kept in. After a while of talking, Poli was chained up and escorted out of your cell. Hopefully, you'd see him again, he was such a polite man.
