Chapter 1-1- ~Connor's Shift~

Connor's POV

The first time I shifted was a few days after my brother, unlike him, I was very weak. I decided to go and pave my own path and broke off all ties to the pack. Living as a lone wolf isn't bad, whenever you're not in my current situation of course.

---------------------------

I decided to go live with my best friend Bella in Forks. I just didn't think Jacob would climb into her room during bonding time. We stared at each other in shock, then anger flashed in his eyes. He grabbed me tightly,

"Connor what are you doing here?! Do you know how worried the pack was. You know you aren't as strong as us. You could get seriously hurt!" He growled. My anger ticked up,

"I'm not delicate 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬" I snarled, watching as shock crossed his face.

"Con, come home, you aren't safe here" Jacob started to beg. I was getting more annoyed by the second.

"All the pack does is treat me like I'm delicate" I snapped, he then started to yell at me.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE CONNOR! YOU ARE DELICATE!" He yelled. I was taken aback. The back never voiced it until now. I knew my face betrayed my hurt, but I didn't care. I then took a deep breath and looked at him.

"I think I'll just leave now Bella" I told her, she nodded. Jacob tightened his grip on me then spoke softly.

"Come home Con, Paul still needs you" He whispered then let go of me. I rolled my eyes then started to leave the house. I quickly said goodbye to Charlie and started to walk in the dark. It wasn't long before I could smell a vampire.

'𝘏𝘶𝘩, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮?' I thought, I didn't get a chance to decide before I was pinned on the ground. I opened my eyes and stiffened. I hadn't seen this vampire before, but he seemed to have been extremly confident to attack a wolf like this is public. He put his hand over my mouth so I could call for help.

"Listen here, If you tell me everyone in your pack and their weaknesses, I 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 let you go home." He growled. I then huffed but refused to talk. I might hate them, but I wouldn't betray them like that. He rolled his eyes,

"Ok listen little wolf, I know you're the weakest, so I can easily just torture you until you tell me what I want to know" He warned, then lifted his hand off my mouth. I took a deep breath and gagged. I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't know what a breath mint is.

"One, My name is Connor, two, I am NOT weak. and Three, I do not like to betray family no matter what happens to me." I muttered. He sighed then reached his free arm to my cheek.

"I don't want to hurt you little wolf, but I need this information, my coven leader wants to take down your pack for being a threat, and you could be spared" He cooed. I refused to say another word. He sighed again and pricked me with some sort of drug. I soon fell unconscious, knowing what would await me once I woke.

----------------------------

Waking up wasn't the worst, just really really cold. I knew I wasn't in Forks anymore. Actually, I'm quite sure I wasn't in the US anymore. I yawned and opened my eyes. I was in a nice room, a really nice room.

"Where am I" I murmered softly.

Beast Tamer: I Can See Evolution Paths

In a land where only the mightiest survives, where the beasts of the wild soar through storm-torn skies and stir the earth with a single growl, Asher was reincarnated as a seventeen year old fragile boy. He wasn’t a warrior or a chosen hero but an ordinary young man, cast into a world where humans hold little power on their own. Instead, they wield the strength of creatures beyond imagination—beasts with fire in their veins, wings that shred the wind, claws that tear the mountains. But Asher was no ordinary man. In this fierce world, every Beast Tamer dreams of finding the rarest, most powerful creatures. Yet Asher discovered something that no one else could see—a gift hidden within his eyes, something that would turn the world on its head: The Eyes of Insight. He could see the hidden power in any beast, even those that others thought weak, pathetic, or useless When he found a dying creature—a tiny, trembling Honeybug, cast aside and forgotten—he saw something no one else could. This was no ordinary creature. With the Eye of Insight, Asher saved the Honeybug from its impending death, and before his eyes, it transformed. It became a Radiant Fairy Butterfly, glittering with power, its wings like shards of starlight. With his Eye of Insight, Asher sought out beasts the world had scorned and transformed them. A timid Thunder Serpent became a storm-bringer, raining lightning upon his enemies. A Ghost Fang cub grew into a fearsome Shadow Wolf, lurking in the mists, striking like a phantom. And soon, the world began to whisper of Asher, the young tamer who raised the dead and forgotten into legends of their own. As he stood on the battlefield, his beasts surrounding him—wings spread wide, claws gleaming, eyes blazing—Asher knew he had only one path forward. He would show them all that even the smallest creatures could become titans, that even the forgotten could rise, that he—Asher, the Beast Tamer—will carve a new legend from dust and ashes.
