When asked, "How is he?" The nurses that accompanied the doctors began to mutter about Danielle as she asks her question. She only caught fragments of their conversation, but she gathered that they were curious as to why she was still seeing this man or whether she had broken up with him. They are meaningless because no sober Nigerian man or half Nigerian man would knowingly stab himself.

"Madam, we need the money of 1.5 million naira for us to continue the procedure. The doctor says, and Danielle gives him a bewildered expression.

That's not crucial at the moment! Look at Damien! I'll have the front desk give me my account number. Danielle responds to the doctor, and she is really offended that he would stop the operation to ask her for money. One of the nurses stayed behind as the doctor hurried back to the operating room.
