Jun slumped back, a deep sigh of relief escaping his lips as he allowed himself a moment of reprieve "That was too close for comfort" Jun of course wanted both of these rewards. Each of these rewards alone is precious in Jun's eyes, especially his affinity towards spiritual energy which he desperately needs right now.

"Even then..." Jun looked at the second reward, a smile bloomed on his face "This one is also amazing, although my comprehension speed is through the roof, it should make things go way faster than before" Jun thought.

All through Eternal Continent, it is known that Emperor and Saint-level talent are the ones that stand at the top of the world, all the top powerhouses have to be born with this at the minimum if they want to stand at the top.

After the great 900,000 thousand-year war, most cultivators with talents above the Saint Level died and did not have enough time to produce offspring to pass their genes. This led to a decline in talent for humans everywhere. Now only Saint or Emperor level stands at the top with only a few immortal talents popping up here in there every thousand years or less.

"Well you may find this crazy but I need you to protect me for a few days or more, depending on my progress"

Yinling ears perked up hearing this, she slowly opened her emerald-tinted eyes "And why is that?"

"If you remember, our leapfrogging abilities seem to have increased tremendously, and gained telepathic communication, this is all caused by the new energy we absorbed, so after studying all the cultivation techniques and cross-referencing and coming up with new ideas, I managed to create my own cultivation system"

Rubbing her eyes, Yinling opened them back again "Huh?"

Jun's forehead formed black lines.

"I created a new cultivation system!" Jun spoke loudly.

Yinling's eyes widened in shock, and like an adrenaline shock she instantly turned to Jun "You?... but how?"

Jun smirked liking her reaction "I'm a genius remember"
