Chapter 60, Legendary Beast

At noon, Li Jain cooked the family dinner.

After eating not so satisfying food in the past few days, everyone was brought to life once again.

"How have you guys been?" Li Jain asked as they ate.

"Good… I think."

Jingxuan cleared his throat: "Father, I think it's good that you came out. Otherwise, we would've been food poisoned sooner or later."

"Food poisoning?"

Li Zhang laughs heartily: "I don't know how brother Han can put together edible ingredients, and the outcome turns into something strange."

"I don't know what's going on. When I cook with Jian, they come out really well, but when I do it alone…" Talking to this point, Yuhan was also sad.

"It's you?" Li Jain was surprised when he saw what his son had awakened.

"You know me?" The snake was also surprised. It was a legendary beast and the only kind in this world. It was originally from another world, but it was unfortunate to meet a sour and stupid fruit. The snake was stunned for a moment; "No wonder I felt your presence was familiar. But…" The snake paused and wandered around Li Jain as if inspecting him. "You're no longer a fruit spirit?"

"This place is another dimension far apart from that world. I am living a simple life here; I'm no longer a fruit spirit." Li Jain looked at it and said indifferently.

Losing his original form must mean that he died in the previous world and is now living as another person. Relaxing this makes the snake so excited that it turns around a few times. That humiliation it suffered back then; it's going to repay tenth forth.

Li Jain looked at the excited snake expressionlessly and poured cold water on it. "Although I'm not a fruit spirit, I can still suppress you!" With that said, he recites a few incantations and performs several hand seals. In the next moment, the snake was suppressed and unable to move.

It looked at Li Jain hatefully and couldn't wait to tear him apart!

"Now that you've calmed down, we can talk." Li Jain didn't take this so-called majestic beast seriously; he looked at it lazily: "Why did you attract those demons to harm my son?"

"Your son?" The snake asked confusedly before realizing Li Jain was talking about the brat that awakened it. "A majestic beast like myself, presence is very majestic. Instead of asking why I attracted them, the question should be, why are they attracted to me? Demons value power above everything else. It's your son's fault for being so weak."

An awakening of a majestic beast will cause a commotion, but not to that level, not to mention Li Yujian's cultivation wasn't that high. The snake looked at its huge body and nodded in understanding.

Li Jain casts a spell and reshapes it. During the process, he also thought about the look his children would like. He doesn't want to carry a snake out and create nightmares for them. The poor majestic snake didn't know what it looked like and was only excited to go out.

After Li Jain came out, Li Yujian also woke up. He was taken aback when he saw a cute and funny-looking creature. "Father, this…"

The creature has two forelegs and two hind legs. It also has two wings on its back. Its head was adorned with two small horns that curved upwards. Shiny silver scales covered their entire body. Its eyes were big and round, with a deep shade of red. It has a snake tail at the bottom.

It was cute, that's for sure.

"Father, what kind of creature is this?"

Before Li Jain could answer, the beast flew in front of Li Yujian arrogantly; "Boy, you should be honored to have a majestic beast such as myself accompanying you!"

Hearing this familiar disrespectful tone, Li Jian immediately look into his sea of consciousness and understood what going on. Looking at the once majestic beast, he couldn't help laughing.
