Limits of the Universe
# Parallel Universe 89, Planet Athena (Parallel to Earth).
After the tragic loss of his family to some cruel people, Jake's world changed into that of Pain.
Pain that was great enough to change him from a normal person to a cold-blooded killer and walked the path of vengeance.
By the time he killed the last of the savages responsible for the death of his family, Jake was riddled with bullets and barely hung onto his life.
Jake didn't try to apply pressure on his bullet wounds without caring for his own life. Instead, he looked at the starry sky and thought to himself as his life continued to sap away through the loss of blood.
'Dad, Mom, Sis, I know you guys wouldn't have wished for me to become like this but if I didn't avenge you guys, I couldn't have lived with myself. Anyways, I will be meeting you all soon. I just hope there won't be anything like Heaven and Hell.'
Just then, a set of notifications appeared before Jake, who was on the verge of dying.

Jake found it hard to believe it to be reality and assumed those notifications as hallucinations before death.
With so many bullet wounds, it was already a wonder he was still alive. In that state, even talking out loud was not even an option for him.
Jake didn't take the information in those notifications to heart but those notifications somehow made him think of the afterlife.
'It took me a tragedy to realise there was no such thing as good or bad, only strong and weak. I could only blame myself for being weak. If there is another life, I want to achieve absolute power, even if it means I had to die trying.'
His response was considered as an approval by the strange entity that sent the notifications.

A transparent sphere formed around Jake and it disappeared with a bright white flash along with him.
