Desperate Measures.

Archer patted Shania's back softly. He bent to her level, stared at her face, and wiped her tears with his palms as he pulled her in for another hug.

"Okay, I think this family reunion won't be quite necessary, as I would be taking you all out of here, and to the city, where I have other plans for you. You could be in the same cage, then you can do all the reunion you want." Jaden said mockingly.

Archer stood, facing Jaden.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"He threatened to kill me if I didn't bring him here, I'm sorry. He

also cut my hand when I tried to run" Shania explained, holding on to Archer's waist.

"Is he your kidnapper?" Archer asked, not taking his eyes off Jaden, who seemed very comfortable with the entire situation.

"Yes" she answered, sniffling. Archer's eyes darkened at her reply.

"Go in Shania, I will handle this" Archer said, nudging her.
