Sigh!
Benihime settled down on the chair, her body resting on the back rest while her head was arched towards the ceiling.
"That man…"
She uttered under her breath, slowly opening her eyes, she looked to the left, there she could see her sword resting on the wall.
"Perhaps I should have crossed swords with him…" Her eyes snapped open a bit, "Well that's new… Am I interested in that young man?" she asked herself.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door,
Knock! Knock!
"Lady Benihime? Can I come in?" Said the female voice from the other side of the door.
"Oh… sure Akari." Benihime replied, her attention now fixed on the door.
The creaking sound echoed as Akari, another Valkyrie in Rizaha walked in, in her hands a book and feathers.
"Sorry to disturb you, were you busy?" She asked, closing the door behind her before she continued walking closer to Benihime.
"No… I just decided to rest a little." Replied Benihime, who returned back to her resting pose.
"So, what do you need?" She asked.
"Oh right, yeah, it's about the traveler we met." Akari opened her sheets, "I don't think letting him go so easily was the right call".
"Uhn? Are you worried? Or do you just don't have a liking for the boy?".
"Quite the opposite actually, I find him interesting and way too intriguing, but that is besides the point…" Akari paused, taking a moment to look at her sheets,
"The traveler doesn't have any ties to this world."
"What do you mean?" Benihime asked, clearly drawn in already.
"The first time I laid eyes on him, I could tell something was off, so I tried reading him with my magic orb, but not a single detail was brought up about him, neither human, demi god, demons, nothing, just a blank existence… that has never been heard of".
"Y-You're right… that has never happened before," Benihime took a worried glance at the ground, "You think he could pose a problem for us?".
"Not just us, the world, although these are all speculation, my orb was definitely clear about it, he is going to be that of Chaos… depending on how fate goes." Akari replied.
"Well, I wouldn't worry too much about it, if that were to happen one day, then we'll take him out as we did our previous foes." Benihime uttered with a smile.
With a slight grunt, she stood up from the chair, a smile on her face as she spoke,
"And besides, what he does shouldn't be our problem, our people come first, every other thing is not our concern".
Akari sighed, "I guess…. you're right, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a strange connection to the traveler…"
Interrupting their conversation was another knock on the door, before any of them could answer, the door swung open and Isla bursted in.
"Lady Hime!!!" Isla called out.
"Isla, remember you should always…"
"The traveler!" She yelled, "We need him with us… fast!".
.....
Opening his eyes, Luminis found himself in a world filled with empty white clouds,
In this world, he was the only one there, he and a Golden throne that was only a few feets away from him.
"Eh? What's happening here?" Luminis blurted out,
"Oh Yeah… I fell unconscious while fighting the giant bird…." He gave out a nervous smirk, "That might have been the stupidest thing I have ever done".
"Oh my, I didn't think you'd be visiting me so soon… Lord Luminis."
Luminis instantly turned his gaze to the source of the sound, and standing beside him, was a woman, with long blonde hair, two giant white wings behind her back and wearing a white sundress.
"Oh it's you."
"You're so cold, that's all you have to say after everything I told you about." The woman spoke with a smile, this time, bending in front of him.
"Quick question, are you somehow manipulating my mind?" Luminis asked with a straight face.
"No of course not, why would you ask that?".
"Well for starters, everything you seem to tell me about this world never leaves this place, I always seem to forget as soon as you send me back.
Secondly, how come I do these things even though I don't remember them, it's usually just a drive I feel, like battling the god bird for example, that was very stupid but for some reason it felt right." He explained, all while maintaining his stoic expression.
"Heheh~." The woman giggled, "You do them because it's your path… even if I didn't tell you, you'd still do it." The woman responded.
"Then why tell me?".
"Let's just say I made a promise, and I tend to keep it no matter what… and besides, if I was tempering with your mind as you claimed, I'm sure Oriel would have picked up on it." The woman spoke,
"Oriel? Who is that? Another deity?" Luminis asked,
"Oops… seems i spoke too much, my bad, Hehe~." She giggled again, her tongue sticking out as she gave herself a slight knock on the head.
"Well, I don't care all that much about it, all I want to know is…" Luminis stared at her for a while, "Do I consider you an ally or a foe?".
"Awwn, how can you say that to me… I wouldn't dream of being your enemy." The woman replied, with a teasing expression on her face.
"That's good then." Luminis stood up from the ground, there he could notice his body was gradually going transparent.
"Looks like time is up." The woman also stood up, looking at him she spoke, "Remember to make the elves your subordinates okay?".
"You're just going to make me forget this too… right?" Luminis asked.
The woman stared at him, not giving a response almost like her mouth was sealed shut to not respond.
Luminis sighed, "Well at least you can tell me your name…".
"Oh… you can just call me Hikari… I am the mother of angels… a deity born from your creation."
"Uhn? What do you mean…"
"See you later… My lord".
