Chapter 1Youjitsu Year 1 Artbook Interview - Volume 11.5 related section

Editor: And.... in volume 11.5, didn't you mention about the shocking development?

Tomose: yeah, haha. I just want to say that I feel sorry for Karuizawa.

Kinugasa: Not like that, we don't know if it's the end for them haha

Tomose: We can tell the ending by looking at Ayanokouji's expression ~

Kinugasa: That's not true. Maybe it will change over time!

Tomose: Ayanokouji gave a monologue that sounded like it could only end tragically.

Editor: It was unusual, right? When the monologue ended, the next part was the illustration and people was wondering "is he smiling?"

Tomose: He's (Kinugasa) throwing all the work on me haha

Kinugasa: That was groundbreaking! It took a lot of arrangements to make it happen!

Tomose: But I feel sorry for her. She was being played.

Kinugasa: Well, there's something common in normal works. About who is the heroine, is she the one from the start, or she only be decided at the end, or it won't be decided at all. I've had enough of that! "Would the girlfriend change or not" I don't want to end like that. It's more interesting to write "how the couple will develop" instead of "who will the end girl be"!

Tomose: I don't know... I feel sorry for her, even though she's at the peak of her happiness now haha

Kinugasa: That's how it is haha

Tomose: R-Really?

Kinugasa: In real life, even if that person has a partner, it's normal to go on the attack for someone you genuinely love, right? Though some will move on too, isn't that realistic? So why not in the light novel too.

Tomose: I see.

Kinugasa: Some won't give up, and some will move on. It's not strange to have them change their crush to someone else in the story.

Editor: As someone who draw the characters, are you feeling pity? Haha

Tomose: She's pitiful lol, to be hugged like that.

Kinugasa: But, there's a huge chance that she will have a happy ending next to Ayanokouji at the end.

Tomose: We don't know what's going to happen in the end.

Kinugasa : You seem anxious.

Tomose: Because I don't think it'll lead to wedding scene with Karuizawa.

Kinugasa : If Youzitsu suddenly got axed, I'll go with that ending haha. She's been through a lot at school, she's happy now...

Editor: Something like, 2nd Year Volume 15: "Karuizawa's Wedding Arc"?

Kinugasa : Yes, I'm glad, though there's a lot of small things to worry about

Editor: There is also a way to create "if-routes" right?

Tomose: For each character!

Kinugasa: I've been thinking about the ending a lot. I don't know how many volumes are left, but I already have an idea how the story will end. I hope the readers will be happy when reading it.

The Legendary Actor

After getting the final relief from his past sufferings, Chu Jiashu was given a second chance when he found himself in the body of an infant from an aristocratic family of Hall. Now, nothing is going to stop him from achieving his long-cherished dream of acting. Enter Renly Hall, a Hollywood miracle of 21st century. Note from the translator - from me, that is. "Honestly, I get frustrated too much when I look at countless subpar novels being translated day after day. So much human resources wasted. I kinda get what Qidian International is doing, but it is just, I can't bear the notion of having so many wonderful novels that belong to the Chinese platform to be left in the dust. English-speaking community should know of the existence of such brilliant works, and more so, they should enjoy them. The novel is by a Chinese dude "Qiqi Jia D Mao Mao", whatever that might mean, who wrote several showbiz novels (he is probably the best at what he is doing). It is not my work, I'm just a dude who, with the help of two free machine translators (DeepL and good ol' Google), can show you a hidden gem. Wait, you said machine translators? Sadly, yes. I can't speak Chinese at all, but fortunately, this novel is structured in a machine-translation-friendly way, like really so. Most of the time context is saved. I'm just polishing the edges with my superb (not really) editing skills, so you all chaps have a splendid experience with this good staff indeed. Actually, you can go and read machine translation or just wait for my updates. Up to you dudes and dudies. And then I go away...blewb, blewb, blewb, blewb, blewb....." P.S. "I am a knife for a hire. So the managers of the site can employ me for this novel, but please don't remove it. Oh, please, I'm begging you on my knees. You guys won't even think of translating this novel, and here I am "translating" it for free,.... well for the time being, that is mwahahaha!" P.S. for P.S. This novel does not contain the following: Harem, definitely not NTR, stupid characters, NTR again (God, I hate NTR (secretly beating the meat for a one in hentai)) But this novel contains: Great storyline, relatable characters, realistic situations, very fun moments as well as tear jerking ones (so much so, you will find your throat hella sore from crying all the time), surprise after surprise for the decisions that author went with. You will have a good time indeed WARNING! READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!

I'm hooked. This LN reads like a book from one of my favorite genres : Intrigue. I'm relatively new to the artistic media trinity that is Light Novel/Manga/Anime, having begun in earnest about 3 years ago. And I have become VERY invested in this particular story. I was first introduced to it by means of the anime series. My jaw dropped at the end of the final episode of season 1. All throughout, we, the viewers, were allowed to hear Ayanakoji's inner monolgue. We were freely invited to see how the wheels in his head turned. He was enigmatic, which, in turn, made him magnetic. We heard his mental notes : "Interesting", "Hmm", and the like. We saw him stealthily contributing in ways that were beneficial to the class and to individuals, all while denying any involvement. Rather, he was consistently shifting the credit to others. Yet --- he appeared to be a walking contradiction. Because, despite whatever good came out of his way of helping, it seemed that something was missing. There was an astonishing lack of warmth His actions were not those of a selfless person. They were clandestine, shadowy, and disaffected. That kept me wondering why. I am intrigued by stoic characters in stories. Great authors know how to keep that character's true intentions away from others within the plot, as well as from us, the readers. If the author is especially gifted at this craft of storytelling, things finally resolve in a way that we never saw coming. And the final seconds of Classroom of the Elite season one? I never saw it coming. Ayanakoji's chilling, detached, private monolgue as the credits were rolling made me do a Keanu Reeves. "Whoa . . . " I needed to get to the source material as fast as humanly possible. In short order I am thoroughly enjoying this amazing work of art. It's very much a page-turner, leaving me checking back repeatedly for the next installment. I'm here till the end. It has not disappointed me once. And I'm confident the end will leave me feeling the same way.
