Conflicting Feelings

Elena's POV

The news of my pregnancy was a bomb to everyone. No one expected that I would be pregnant so early. I had planned to get pregnant earlier enough so I could leave this God forsaken place forever. 

Now, that my prayer was answered, I needed to pray harder for the moon goddess to give me a son, a heir to the throne as Alpha Herrick want. 

"You're pregnant?" Alpha Herrick turned to me, immediately Sarah announced the news.

"Yes, she is. That was why she was feeling all those symptoms in the morning. She wasn't sick afterall." Sarah was more excited than I was. "Oh.. I thank the moon goddess for he has given us a child." 

She gave me a hug, greeted Alpha Herrick and ran off to inform the other of the pregnancy. 

"Aren't you happy?" Alpha Herrick asked me again. 

"Should I?" I asked and turned away from him. I wondered how and why he found me. I was trying so hard to run away from this feeling I had but it kept taunting me.
