Pushing open the door, Ryan walked into the bar. He had traveled on foot, so his journey back to the old man's Inn had taken hours, and now it was already midnight. Ryan glanced around as he watched patrons drink and laugh; their mugs clicked, and their faces brimmed with delight. Although he wasn't certain, they all seemed happier than the last time he was here.

"This is thanks to you," Chloe's voice chimed as she walked towards Ryan, holding a tray of beer to be delivered to a table.

"Really?"

"Yes," Chloe affirmed. "Those bullies that had harassed us for years are finally gone, so everyone's happier," Chloe explained.

"Well, that's good to hear," Ryan offered a smile as he turned to Chloe.

"Thank you," Chloe smiled back. "For avenging her," she added before walking away.
