Chapter XV: A King or A Monster

{Lakrio Forest: Dark Mountain}

Raize continued walking until he felt the power of Dabric. On the other hand, rested on one side after fighting the monsters.

"H-huh!?, where is my lunch box"Rye confused say.

Dabric noticed him so he went to him.

"What happen Rye?, seems you finding something"Dabric asked.

"I was looking for my lunch box, it looks like I left it"Rye answer.

"Ohh I see, I have remainder food here, you can have it"Dabric suggestion.

He handed his lunch box with only bread and water. Rye immediately accepted it and ate it.

On the other hand as Raize walked he felt someone around him. So he put the lunch box he was holding on his cloak and drew his sword while closing his eyes.

By the time the monsters came out. Raize had just dodged them very quickly. Once these monsters fall he attacks them very fast and breaks them into pieces.

"Damn!, the monsters here still weak just like before"Raize frustrating said.

He started walking towards them again Dabric. While Dabric and his comrade started walking again and they saw a soldier crawling which they found a soldier from Lakrio.

They helped and nurtured it. In return, they asked a few questions, which the wounded soldier immediately answered.

"Huh?!, your leader have been slayed with just one attack from that monster!"S-rank Myne shocked said.

"So that monster is incredibly strong!"S-rank Dave reply.

"I am the only one who lived and the other of my comrade died, almost all of them were consumed by that monster, then he says something, that he is looking for the king!"Soldier of lakrio statement.

"King?, did he meant the king of lakrio!?"S-rank Severe question.

"No, the king he was referring to was probably a mighty human being!"Dabric answer.

"So there's a powerful creature on this mountain besides that monster!?"S-rank Myne asked.

"He is not a monster, but a man who have extraordinary strength, which can be compared to the legendary hero!"Dabric respond.

They were about to walk when they saw a creature above them. The lakrio soldier was suddenly frightened and his eyes widened.

"I-it's him!!, that's the monster who wipe my comrade even my leader!!"Lakrio Soldier frightening said.

"So he finally showed up!"Dabric say.

Slowly it stood up and suddenly ran. Dabric tried to stop him but he struggled and kept running. But suddenly the said monster attacked him and stabbed him in the stomach.

They startled Dabric at the speed of the monster as if they were unaware that it had passed them. And looking back they saw the soldier pierced by the hand of the monster and at once thrown away.

After that the monster shouts out so loudly that it seemed to be calling its disciples. Dabric, on the other hand, retreated and prepared for what might happen.

As Raize was walking he heard the familiar shout and also saw so many monsters coming towards that shout. So he hurried to them Dabric to find out their situation.

"S-so is this the monster you were saying guild master?!"S-rank Myne nervously said.

"I don't know either but it looks like this is the monster they are talking about!"Dabric reply.

Facing them again the monster stepped closer. Russ immediately stepped forward and made another barrier as he had done. But the monster just kept on approaching.

The monster raised his right hand and struck Russ's barrier. As it continued to strike, Russ's said barrier was gradually destroyed.

"I-i can't hold on anymore!, if he continues to strike it the barrier might be completely destroyed!"Russ said.

"Myne, Dave, Severe and Rye !, get ready in time to break the shield let's attack this monster at once!"Dabric request.

They immediately positioned themselves to attack the monster simultaneously. And just as the monster was about to strike Russ's shield, the monster suddenly stopped.

"H-huh?!, what's happening"Rye asked.

"I don't know either"Dabric reply.

Raize arrives and he notices a creature with overflowing power and he also sees them Dabric inside a green barrier. He hid in a big tree and even his power he hid for a while.

The monster no longer felt the overwhelming power he had just felt. So he confronted them again Dabric and completely destroyed the barrier. In the destruction they simultaneously attacked Dabric the monster.

Their fight was intense but they were not able to hit or injure the monster because even at the same time they were still able to avoid the monster.

Raize peeked at Dabric's situation and realized that they were at a disadvantage so he didn't have time to think anymore. He drew his sword again and by the time the monster attacked them Dabric Raize rushed even faster than the monster did.

They surprised Dabric when the monster was driven away and someone suddenly landed in front of them. When Raize confronted them Dabric recognized him immediately and smiled.

"I knew you were come here, Raize!"Dabric calmly said.

"Take a rest for now, I'll take care this monster!"Raize rudely say.

"What?, that one is too strong, even we can't handle him how can you be alone?!"S-rank Severe worried said.

Raize didn't answer it and continued to step towards the monster's crash.

"Let him be severe, take a rest and watch him!"Dabric suggestion.

When he got close to the said monster it gradually became small monsters and when he looked up he saw the real monster. They also looked at Dabric and saw the monster they had just fought.

"So you're not a normal monster huh?!"Raize smiled say.

"ARE YOU THE KING!?"Monster shouts.

Raize didn't answer it and attacked the monster. They fought so fiercely that it reached the point of destroying nearby trees. Their battle looked like a storm and even the castle of Lakrio felt a very strong earthquake as a result of their battle.

As Russ watched Raize fight the monster he suddenly likened Raize to a hero like the one he had witnessed. But he just ignored it because it was impossible for Raize to be the legendary hero.

"You're great, It's my first time had a strong opponent in my life!"Raize insanely with delight said.

"Eeeekk!!"Monster shouts.

Suddenly the monster emitted a red aura and attacked Raize, It became even faster to move and attack the monster strange than it showed. But Raize remained calm and acknowledged the speed and attack of the said monster.

The monster was surprised when he noticed Raize who suddenly met his attack without any difficulty.

"Why are you suddenly surprised?, are you wondering how I kept up with your speed"Raize insulting say.

To the monster's annoyance, it accelerated even more, which Raize immediately confessed. In their fight they could no longer see Dabric at the excessive speed of their actions.

"T-they both are really fast!"Rye amazement said.

"YOU ARE THE KING I AM LOOKING FOR!!"Monster loudly say.

At Raize's very fast attacks, purple smoke began to come out of his body. So when he noticed this he decided to end the monster in a single attack.

"Damn!, I'm about to near my limits, its bad"Raize worried say.

As he attacked the monster he suddenly retreated and his sword flashed with a red aura all around the sword.

By the time they attack each other Raize splits the monster's entire body resulting in its blood leaking and splashing around them Dabric.

Raize suddenly collapsed feeling weak and the healers immediately approached Raize and treated him. After Raize was cured he went to the monster and saw that it was lifeless so he drew his sword again and pointed it at the monster.

"You guys!, move away from me"Raize request.

As they walked away Raize began to cast red magic all over the sword which in turn went to the monster's body. A few moments ago Raize was finished so he returned his sword. But they surprised when the monster that Raize had been fighting lately came to life.

Suddenly the monster knelt down in front of Raize which was strange to what it had done lately.

"Hmm, it looks like it work!"Raize smiled say.

"My king, could you give me a name?"Monter request.

"Hmm, if you are the leader of the monsters, you can be Pilax but it doesn't suit well!"Raize softly said on himself.

As he was thinking of a good name for the monster he suddenly thought of a monster he had encountered before. That was also just near this mountain but hr did not finish it because it did not have the strength to fight him so he decided to give the name to monster in front of him.

"Alright!, you'll be Typhon!"Raize answer.

"I accept the name you have given my king, in return I will serve you faithfully until I gone!"Typhon gratitude said.

Then the Typhon entered Raize's red cape.

"Master!!"Rye happily say.

"By the way Raize, why did you come here for?"Dabric asked.

Raize took Rye's lunch box placed behind him and handed it to Rye.

"Ohh, I'm here to give the lunch box that he left, as Simon said"Raize answer.

"Is that so, Also we are going to the capital of the lakrio will you come with us?!"Dabric suggestion.

"Yeah you should since you defeated the monster, you should just come with us!"S-rank Myne said.

"I won't go, that's not the reason why I came here"Raize said.

Raize suddenly jumped away from them Dabric. Upon Raize's departure they continued walking towards the lakrio castle.
