Katherine P.(Known also as Katherine Hanazawa)

JP: "人形浄瑠璃座" (Ningyō Jōruri-za), which roughly translates to "Puppet Theater."

An ability that allows her to call forth silver energy threads from the tips of her fingers and use them as weapons or to control certain assets.

Dislikes: lemons, dogs, bugs(especially cockroaches), suicidal maniacs who wreak havoc in the office.

Appearance:

20 years old

Katherine has long blond hair and ruby-red eyes. She usually wears her signature black cap, black and white striped t-shirt, and blue jean jacket. She also wears black shorts with black leggings and calf-length brown boots. Her fingernails are usually painted red.

14 years old

As she joined the Armed Detective Agency, her clothes consisted of her black cap, a white shirt with a blue necktie, a beige sweater, and a brown cardigan. She usually wore a blue checkered skirt supported with suspenders, black socks, and white and blue sneakers. Her hair was often arranged in twin tails by Yosano who insisted she looked cute in them.

Child

As a kid who grew up in the slums, her clothes were often tattered and dirty, and most of them were too large for her. The only piece of clothes that didn't change over the years was her old brown checkered shawl. Katherine was used to roaming barefoot and her body was covered in bandages back in the day. She was always seen tugging her bunny along wherever she went.

About her ability:

Her ability lets her generate silver-colored threads from her glowing nails which once wrought around something, she can then control it as a puppet, which is why she often uses plushies as weapons. The threads themselves are sharp and hard, making them almost impossible to cut.

Her threads could be extended up to 30 Km and are always growing (they grow in length the same way her hair or nails do. So even if they were cut, which is rare, they grow back again.) She can summon one thick thread from each finger or three thinner ones. Her maximum threads are 30. The thickness of threads affects her controlled target (she requires thin threads for small plushies and thick ones for human-size ones like Panda. The heavier and bigger the target is, the more threads she requires.) 

Although the threads are issued from her nails, Katherine wrings them around her fingers and sometimes arms to allow more flexibility and support when using her ability. This usually results in marks and wounds because of the pressure.It's rather blurry and muffled, but Kath can share her plushies' senses to a certain point, it's a last-ditch when she can't use the sensors implanted in them.

* She likes writing and dreams of being a writer someday.

* Kunikida tutored her. 

* She left for London to study literature.

* Her plushies all have special mechanisms built into them. They were all rigged by a friend of hers she met in London.

* Kath has a tendency to keep her hands in her pockets, it's because she wants to hide any small injuries that might have resulted from her threads from Yosano.

* The Hanazawa name was inspired by the Hanaza Thearter name. ( a Theater mentioned in the real book)

A fun fact: Katherine was designed to be Higuchi's twin, that's, she has physical resemblances to Higuchi like some of the fandom characters among each other (Teccho and Rampo, Dazai and Poe, Fyodor and Mori, Gin and Naomi...)
