Alexandre's crusade (4)

"So... It's true after all. His Majesty was the one who made these heavenly wagons. I wish to own even the one with the capacity of two people. However... I know their prices are absurd. I can only regret for not being rich to afford one of the carriages."

"They are otherworldly. I can't wait to drive in one of them. It should be a great feeling... Right? His majesty even if he is a dick sometimes. He is truly a genius to come up with such excellent stuff."

"Just look at those undulating grooves of the hull...wait! Look at the design of the wheel! Ooh my... My baby will be happy when I take her out for a date in such a carriage... I don't know why these carriages showed up when there was no money in my pocket... Damn!"

"It would be romantic when I propose to my beautiful Chloe with a white carriage driven by a white horse by my side. Chloe my baby... Just wait, I will work hard to buy that carriage."

The natives were going crazy and Alexandre grinned from ear to ear when he noticed their enthusiasm.

There was a two seater carriage, a four seater, a sixteen seater and the giant of them all which was pulled by six horses, it was the 40 seater bus-like carriage.

"I can see and feel your boisterousness and I am pleased. I know most of you are awaiting for me to mention the prices of these carriages but I won't do that here because of the security of our buyers. However, if there is anyone amongst you who wants to buy any of these... You will have to seek for a marquis near you who will give you a ticket to visit our hangar in Golton district. That is where we will be doing our transactions." Alexandre finished and came down from the roof of the carriage. The knights who were guarding him closed to him and led him to a four seater carriage that was entirely made of iron. The door was closed after Alexandre sat comfortably on his seat.

Clearly, Alexandre was wearing a black suit and golden sandals. He smiled and waved his hands through the window of the carriage at the denizens who were being pushed aside so that his convoy could leave the Whiten market.

The people screamed his name as he waved at them and when the space was created after the knights managed to push the denizens out from the road, Alexandre's convoy finally left.

Alexandre followed this routine and visited almost a half of Azuhai kingdom as he told the people about the products being produced by his majesty, After all, Virtya wanted money for the cement and the cannon making thus, he had to venture into trade so that he could try to come up with more than twenty million gold coins for the project.

Meanwhile, even after the costly advertising which was spearheaded by Alexandre, Virtya didn't manage to make many sales as he had anticipated.

One should know that most of the rich natives flew from Azuhai kingdom after they predicted its inevitable fall thus, the few wealthy natives that remained in Azuhai bought the carriages but not all the wealthy people bought them. Only 70% of the wealthy denizens of Azuhai bought the carriages, the new clothes and the furnitures thus, this forced Virtya to give his customers a massive 50% discount and that was when the sales increased.

The demand for his products rose higher at a time when he initiated this discount and he made many sales especially the new modern clothes which were gaining momentum in Azuhai kingdom. That was until the purchasing power of the denizens plunged after their enthusiasm waned because there was no more advertising, not to mention that at the starting of the end of the month of July, the kingdom of Litkesh also ventured into the furniture, clothes and the carriage making that were the exact replica of Virtya's designs.

The people of Azuhai preferred Litkesh kingdom's merchandise because they were cheaper as compared to what Virtya was making. Something like a suit made in Litkesh was going for 40 silver coins while a suit made in Azuhai was going for 50 silver coins after the discount. Even if the difference in the prices was so small but the customers wouldn't shy away from saving a few coins, right?
