At this time, every students are assembled at the square, standing in an orderly manner.

Their attention are all gathered at the stage where the head of every department, along with the Dean, are all standing.

Looking at all the students in the field, the Dean stood in front of the mic and started speaking.

"My dear students, today we are going to conduct the annual innate talent awakening ceremony. This will be a memorable day to all of you. Some will end up happy while some might not be so lucky."

"Nonetheless, this will be the day that will change the life of all of you. Let us all hope that a lot of you awaken a powerful innate talent that could be useful for your future professions."

After saying that, the Dean paused for a moment and took a look at the eager faces of all the students.

Then with a smile, he said, "Now, without further ado, we shall start the ceremony!"

At the Dean's words, music that aroused the students spirits sounded all over the field.

"Hey Frey, what talent do you think you'll awaken?"

In the line of Grade 12 Section-C students, Frey was suddenly asked by the person behind him.

Looking back, Frey saw that it was Clyde and said,

"I don't know, it doesn't really matter. As long as I get a useful talent, be it a talent for a life class or combat class, I'll be satisfied with it."

In this world, profession or class are divided into 2 types.

First is the life class such as blacksmith, alchemist, chef, tailor, investigator, etc.

Basically, life class are the ones that we call as noncombatants.

And the other one is the combat class.

Just like its name, combat class are those that are aimed for fighting such as warriors, sorcerer, druid, assassin, etc.

Usually, picking one's class is highly dependant on the innate talent that an individual awaken.

That is why it is very important to awaken a talent that is in line with your aspirations.

However, there are still some who choose a profession that doesn't make use of their own talent from time to time.

Anyway, choosing a class is still up to an individual's decision.

Looking at Frey, Clyde sighed, "You're acting like that again, Frey. You really look like someone without ambition."

Frey shrugged and stopped talking to Clyde.

Putting his attention back at the stage in front, Frey saw that the awakening ceremony has started.

A black orb about twice the size of an adult man's fist was placed at the center of the stage.

Starting from the highest section of grade 12, which is section A, students climbed up the stage as their names as called out.

"Luther Vandross."

"Lullia Bell."

"Alexandra Rossi."

As students awaken their talents, the orb lights up with different colors, depending on the level of their talents.

From time to time, exclamation could be heard from the crowd down the stage.

"Woah!"

"Did you see that? The orb lit up with red light!"

"That means he awaken an A-rank innate talent!"

"His life is really about to change this time. He will surely soar in his life after this day!"

Frey stared at the student that is standing on stage with red light surrounding him.

A hint of interest flashed in his eyes for a moment before it went back to a calm.

Similarly, Clyde behind Frey is looking at the stage and said,

"That's Von Proller, right? Wow, he really lives up to his name as a member of the Proller family."

Proller family could be called as one of the prominent families that lives in San Antonio.

A lot of the industries here almost have the presence of the Proller family behind it.

On the stage, Von Proller's expression didn't change at all after learning that he awaken an A-rank talent.

Bowing slightly at the Dean, Von stepped down from the stage.

After him, more and more students went up the stage to awaken their innate talents.

Just like what the Dean said before, some of the students were elated when they awaken while there are also those that end up depressed.

Anyway, none of that is Frey's concern.

At this time, the grade 12 section B just finished awakening all their students and it's section C's turn now.

That is Frey's class.

Mr. Guttierez, the adviser of class C looked at his students and said, "Everyone, it is now the time for you all to awaken your innate talent. I won't say much, but know that I'm hoping that you all get a good talent."

Hearing that, eager looks covered the students faces.

On the back of the line, Frey heard Mr. Guttierez words and smiled.

"After waiting for 18 years, I'm finally about to awaken!" He muttered.

Unlike the previous indifferent look on his face, a hint of expectation can't help but appear on his face.

The truth is, Frey, who's standing here in the field, is actually a reincarnator.

Originally from Earth, Frey died from a car accident and somehow reincarnated in this world.

After learning more about the world, Frey started having expectations on his future innate talent.

This time, his dream has become 'to awaken an amazing innate talent and live a comfortable life!'.

Mr. Guttierez started calling out the names of his students alphabetically.

"Mel Andrada."

"Paul Bonzo."

"Ben Butler."

"Justine Dolores."

After waiting for a while, Frey's name was soon called.

"Frey Van."

Hearing his name, Frey stepped forward.

Behind him, Clyde said, "Good luck, Frey!"

To which Frey raised his fist in the air for a short moment.

Following the instruction of Mr. Guttierez, Frey went up the stage and met the Dean.

The Dean stood near the black orb and said, "Student, just gently touch the awakening stone for your innate talent to awaken."

Frey nodded respectfully.

"Good, go ahead. I wish you awaken a strong innate talent."

At the Dean's words, Frey touched the black orb.
