If a businessman needed some land or buildings then it could be beneficial for them to buy up some land that would be expected to be cleared out by Balancers.

The prices of the land would be reduced due to accidents happening and superstitious rumors being related to them so there could be few buyers and the current owners would want to sell it off.

A wealthy businessman could be able to buy up the land for a Balancer to be able to gain access to it.

Once it was cleared of the problems, that businessman or woman could start up a business there or rebuild it to suit their needs and they would have been able to achieve their purpose at a much lower cost.

Whether it was the relationship between the normal world and the supernatural world that existed along with it, there were still times when give and take were required to get things done.

One world could not function and progress without the occasional assistance from the other.
