Once again

The time itself was frozen.

John panicked. He started breathing heavily. He ran around here and there to find everything and everyone paused. He ran away towards his house in panic.

He was happy to be alive but he was surprised to see all of this.

"It's just like a Sci-fi movie", he talked with himself while running. He just wanted to make sure his mom and dad weren't paused.

While running he stumbled upon a paused cat and fell down on his face. Suddenly, he heard a meow. He looked up hastily to find the cat was moving. Then, he suddenly started hearing the sound of moving vehicles and people talking with each other. Suddenly the complete silence turned into noisy sound of crowd, industries and vehicles. The noise he hated the most turned into the most relieving sound, he ever heard in his life. He reached his home. He entered the house, threw his bag and just hugged his dad and mom.

His parents were startled. "What are you doing here, you are supposed to be at school?", Mr. Vincent asked.

"Did something happened?", Mrs. Vincent added to the question.

John wanted to tell everything about the bizzare experience he had but he just couldn't bring himself to. He couldn't even believe himself.

"I'm...I'm not...feeling well. I...won't go to school today. I'd like to rest at home.", he replied in a very murmuring tone.

His mom escorted him to his room. Mr. Vincent was looking him with a very suspicious face.

He lied down in the bed. His heart was still beating fastly. He couldn't think straight for a while. Though, he had watched a lot of time travel movies already but the experience was still too bizzare for him. He fell asleep without even realizing it.

He woke up at around 4 pm. "Oh, so you're awake now?", his dad asked. He was sitting on a chair next to his bed.

"Were you worried about me?", John questioned back in a very weak tone.

"What's up with that question now?", Mr. Vincent asked.

"Did your dad also use to sit next to you when you were not fine?", John asked.

"My dad, huh?....He isn't in the world of living anymore. He is in a faraway world. But, no, he never did that to me.", Mr. Vincent replied.

There was a visible sadness in his eyes.

The next day, he went to his school. Mrs. Rebecca asked, "Why were you absent yesterday?".

"I was not feeling well", he replied.

"And what about the assignmnent?", she questioned.

"Well...I....I..haven't done it.I....forgot to do it.", he replied nervously. He could've made a better excuse but he didn't. He was not in the mood.

His mother was called to school and she was complained about John's study. He had a good scolding that day. He wanted the time to pass quickly but time was moving slowly when he was getting scolded.

A week passed. There was a news in the city about a lion escaping from the zoo.

While returning home from school, the very same lion was infront of him. It attacked him. Two people were already injured from that lion's wrath.

It happened so suddenly, he couldn't even think anything. The lion had already bit his arm. His heart started beating like crazy.

And too his surprise, the time had stopped once again
