Beacon of the Void

In a world wherein powers of ancient times harnessed the reality-bending power, Ren Valt was chosen by what was called the Beacon-a mystically linked force with the Abyss, a place hard for people to fathom. Resonance, a strong energy now leading inside his body, connects Ren to the Abyss and its endless power but at great cost. For if he can't dam it, the Abyss will take him, as it has taken so many souls before his. Kael, a warrior with a past shrouded in shadow; Dorian, a scholar of forbidden knowledge-they join in to aid Ren against a world of covert threats, unseen powers, and foes out to seize the Beacon's power. And as the Abyss begins to stir-heretofore slumbering, powerful forces now start to awaken-Ren realizes that his fight for survival is but part of a much vaster struggle taking place in the universe. This is a test that will either finally elevate him or totally destroy him. With every meeting, Ren is deeper in the secrets of the Abyss: he learns about the Beacon that is connected with the lost worlds and is to take part in the war older than time. With each disappearance, the boundaries between reality and the Abyss raise for Ren one question: whether it is at all possible to stand at the helm of the forces of the Abyss, or will the power turn against him?
