Arrival of darkness

Date: November 30, 2030

Timings : 8:45 PM

Current Place : Scout city

Current situation : Danger.

A group of people was running frantically without rest in Forest. The dark night was full of peaceful but it was ruined by the rustling of these youths. The moon was strange blood red but it showed the light for them to travel on the deep forest while occasionally beast howls would be heard which made these youths tremble their body but they gritted their teeth and ran forward without caring. There were 5 youth around 19 -20 years old who should be a students but their complexions were deadly pale. Their clothes were torn, hairs was messed up and someone even had blood covering their clothes but all of them were carying different types of tools more like weapons. They run towards the deep forest while occasionally turning behind but there was no one behind still they were panic stricken.

The leading youth was carrying a school bag while his hands was holding a scrap long iron pipe while it's head was covered with fresh black blood which would occasionally fresh drops would drop to the ground. He always checks his surroundings whenever he runs forward fearing that something might be lurking there but the light was too dim to see his surroundings . His clothes were torn but the muscles in his body were bulging. His face was covered in dust but his eyes were full of caution and fear. He checked his teammates who were same condition as him who are in full of despair.

"We..... We need to pass through the deep forest then only we can reach scout city at tonight so.... We have to speed up"

The leading youth said to his teammates while running.

The rest of them nodded their head without saying anything it's decided that they agreed upon his words so all they did was focusing on running.

The leading youth suddenly stopped running he cautiously waved his hand to the teammates to stop and he held his weapon in front of him vertically.

The others started to tremble in fear but they ultimately went into fighting position while looking at their surroundings wairly.

The Forest suddenly became silent But soon the forest trees started to shake which broke the silence. The beast howl abruptly stopped and the darkness covered the red moon. The youths all tensed up waiting for something and it their breathing started to harden.

The leading youth looked at backwards with his cold eyes. He suddenly took a deep breath and said to his teammates

"Run..... Go reach the scout city and take their shelter... I will hold them back".

The rest of them hesitated while looking at the youth but the youth said in determination tone

"Go.... Run. We don't have much tim-"

Before he could say a strange voice was heard in the middle of the forest which sent chill to their spines. The leading youth took a deep breath and said

"Now RUN"

The rest of them hesitated again but ultimately they ran forward while saying

"I hope we will see you again"

The youth shook his head while holding his iron pipe tightly he closed his eyes.

The creepy sound started to grew near to him . It soon reached him and the sounds started to get louder.

In middle of the forest the darkness covered the whole forest killing all the possibilities of moon light. The wind started to go bersek while the sounds stopped for a minute.

The youth abruptly opened his eyes which one made heart shake , He looked at his front calmly.

Red eyes started to appear .one! Two!..... Hundreds of them appeared but the darkness enveloped their body so one couldn't see their structure. Only their red eyes and their sounds can be heard in this dark forest.

They immediately lunged at the youth at the same time the youth lunged at them too without any fear while laughing

"haha.... This is where the road ends".

Only the force of the iron rod swing and flesh shattering sound was heard in the forest.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

'I still have so much dreams to accomplish'

BAM! BAM! BAM!

'I'm still single..... '

BAM! BAM! BAM!

'Im still too young to die'

Scratch.!

A claw mark appeared on his chest side till to abdomen, blood started to gush out but still he fought with it.

Suddenly the thing attacked him from behind which made him fall but with a backward kick he stood on the ground again panting. His weapon was broken down so he could of support his weak body for a minute. But before passing out he saw an fire shooting towards his location then he passed out.

A week ago [Before]

A unknown Red light directly flew through the clouds dying the sky red blood in speed of light. With a rumbling sound the sky started to Rain down blood for seven days. People started to lockdown themsleves in their home , Military army's started to guard down the cities. The sun was absent for a whole week while the darkness groomed over the whole world , Terror started to spread every souls deep in there heart. Tension started to occur among the people which soon riot was started resulted in first yelling, warning bit soon it ended with murder, death and even rape too. The law started to collapse, world lost its usual calmness then it filled with terror.

November 30, 2030

Humanity faced true terror which almost wiped out more than half of their population.

At the end of seven days people started to change. Their skin started to rot their eyes became blood red their flesh became sticky, long nails and long fangs started to grow .....They lost their conciousnes and started to kill living peoples.... Millions of people started to die by their hands and the Dead people started to become alive while killing living beings.

Zombies....

That's what we call them.

And we have only one aim ! To live

We have to be hunter or get hunted.

I clearly saw my schoolmates getting truned into zombies. They killed each other chewed on their fleshes...

All the military army started to take actions but soon they ended up becoming undead . Soon chaos arrived which made people live in terror and all sort of abnormal phenomenon started to occur. Then.... Humanity changed.

[ Present time ]

A heavy armored soldiers started to firing the zombies. The billets were rained upon the clueless zombies and soon after they all were killed down.

A muscular man around 30 years wearing military clothes and covered his face with mask said to the soldiers

"cut off their heads "

The soldiers soon started to cut of the zombies head but all have the urge to vomit seeing the rotting faces.

Suddenly a soldier said "Commander we found a survivor here and-"

Before he could say he ducked in a deep breath. When the commander heard that he frowned and went towards the location but the scene before him made take a deep breath.

Hundreds of zombies were dead their organs were all scattered .the heads were crushed while limbs were broken some even were had their half of the body smashed Into meat pulp. Black blood was flowing out of their body and it started to form small river. In front of them hundreds of zombies were dead and a heavy Injured man was lying on the ground .

The commander hurriedly said "check him if he is human or not. Give medic him first and check him to know what's his identity"

Two soldiers went to the unconscious youth and gave him simple medical treatment .while searching his body they found his identity card.

The soldier replied saluting "commander he has no infection. He is just over fatiuged and his injuries are minor nothing but scars "

The commander nodded his head and said "That boy has lot of strength and good wisdom. He will sure have a good future if he doesn't die . What's the name of the boy? "

The soldier said "KIRIN"
