Arms Mech : Rewrite the stars

In an all-white room, lined chairs and tables. That room looks like a class in some high school.

There are two interesting things in this room.

One is a large screen at the front of the room that shows slideshows of various types of natural scenery. Every five minutes passed, a blue box logo contains words of Axia Corp appeared on that screen.

The second interesting thing was a youth who sit, occupying one of the chairs in that room.

Why is the youth interesting?

He's interesting because he's different from an ordinary youth. This youth is a Half-Dragon or rather, a human who is transformed into a Half-Dragon.

A pair of small black horns like Obsidian adorned his head. His arms that look like a gauntlet because it was covered by black scaly skin hold a tablet PC. In the back, his long tails that look strong swing from left to right and vice versa.

The young man who read the document on the tablet put on a serious expression. Slowly, that expression turned into an expression that showed a wave of anger.

The young man who couldn't control his emotions crushed the tablet before finally slamming it violently to the floor.

Crash!

The tablet was shattered to pieces and the young man was still not satisfied. He stood up and lifted the chair he had just sat on.

"Damn it!" Shout the youth, who then threw the chair as hard as he could to the wall of this room.

Bang!

A chair bounced after hitting the wall hard. The wall cracked and the chair that hit it fell apart.

The teenager gasped trying to control his breathing.

He was angry, he was very angry after reading the document and knew all the nonsense that was in it.

As the youth was engulfed in anger, a cat-shaped mascot appeared on the big screen.

As if it was alive, the cat mascot looked at the teenager then opened its mouth. A moment later, a voice sounded. [Please calm yourself. Anger is not a good emotion]

"Shut up stupid machine! I don't need your crap!" cursed the youth, who turn around and then stared intently at the cat mascot on the big screen.

At one corner of the ceiling of the room, the camera lens rotates to adjust its focus. The red LED light on the camera flashed as a sign, the camera recorded what happened in the room.

[I need to correct you. I'm not a machine, I'm an artificial intelligence or better known as AI.]

"I don't care! I'm just... I'm Just..."

The youth becomes silent. He didn't know what to say. Dragging his powerless body, the youth sat on an empty chair available.

The youth rubbed his face with two palms. He tried to recall what happened before he was in this room to read history that was so absurd.

A few hours ago, the young woke up from a Hibernation Machine. A machine that has the function to keep the condition of the human body remains the same as when he entered it even though several years passed. In short, this machine keeps a person always young not eroded by the times.

Having just woken up and not knowing anything, the youth followed the instructions given by the AI, a supervisor for the hibernation project.

The youth obediently entered the machine that looks like a capsule which would later give him a pair of horns, a tail, and a layer of black scales covering both of his arms. The machine also gives his body tormenting pain.

After the torture ended, the AI told him that the machine he entered was a machine used to alter human genes.

The youth became alert when the AI, once again told him to enter the other capsule machine. He no longer wanted to feels the torture he had experienced before.

The youth continued to refuse AI commands but then ended up obeying them reluctantly. The youth had no other choice after the AI told him, if he didn't carry out this command, he would violate the employment contract and he wouldn't get paid.

In the end, the youth regretted it. Once again he felt the tormenting pain that the second strange machine gives him. The machine made his head feel like it was about to explode.

The youth who goes through the torture gets strange knowledge about how to drive a machine called Arms Mech and Arms Knight. Not only that knowledge, but he also gained the knowledge to use weapons, to fight with his bare hands, different types of programming languages, use various kinds of computer applications, and various types of new languages to communicate.

Then after all of those, the AI said that the youth is now the strongest man in the world. Of course, the youth didn't believe it considering the AI deceive him twice.

After all the torture was over, the youth visited the meeting room. And in here, he read an article that made him very angry and confused.

"What do you want now?" asked the youth, who leaned back in a chair and stared at the ceiling of the room.

[I want you to save the world.]

"Haa...!" replied the youth, who couldn't believe the words he heard.

Saving the world, is this thing crazy? I'm just a human being, not a god. How can a weak man like me save the world? thought the youth after hearing another nonsense.

[You don't have to give an overdo response when you heard to other people's words] says AI. At the same time, a large screen at the front of the room turn on and a video repeatedly played teenager's ridiculous expression

"You need to know, I never overdo something! And do you realize that saving the world is a crazy dream that won't come true? And what is this! Delete that silly video! Lastly, I don't want to hear your orders or requests anymore, we're done here!"

[If you don't execute this order, you'll be violating the employment contract you've signed.]

That sentence makes the veins in the youth's forehead visible. He immediately gets up from the chair then headed towards the camera that recorded him.

"To hell with the contract of employment! Five hundred more years have passed since I entered that Hibernation Machine. In the contract, I will only hibernate for five years! The employment contract you said is no longer valid here!" The youth shouted his anger at the camera with all his might.

That's right, the youth, Niel Argant [18 years] is traveling time into the future. It was five hundred years from the time he was supposed to live. This madness made his short black hair disheveled. His red eyes looked so exhausted.

Niel is not a human being. Thanks to the Gene Modification that AI did to him, Niel is a Half-Dragon now.

And it can be said, things that the youth is experiencing today are a mess beyond reason and cannot be taken for granted.
