The unrest in the castle could be seen by the guests as well. Nicholas was busy with the delegates in negotiation. At first, he did not like them getting so much attention. The King did not keep it down for his sister, making it challenging for her, and now they even dare to call for her.

“What nerve!” He murmured as he sat with Aldrich beside him.

Aldrich was disturbed by Something else. He reported to Nicholas, who was equally shocked but was taking it better than him. His friend anticipated such a situation after their return from Amanecer. Rosa was in discussion with Minister Sawar. The older man seemed to have taken a liking to her. Rosa, as usual, kept the mood serious, but somehow the minister had been asking for her more and more. Nicholas was not happy with this. He growled inside, feeling overprotective of his sister.

"I don’t like that man.” Aldrich laughed at the Emperor’s words.
