Chapter 8: Dante Zauns Mad Scientist

Vander, Vi, Powder, and Felicia eyes all widened as they see a pale doctor covered in blood he had toxic mask covering his mouth. Next to the doctor was another young doctor with spiky white hair and golden eyes who also had black modified toxic mask on. This young doctor had advanced technology that Vander had never seen before. The lab room was covered with advanced tools such as AI robots that were treating injured rebel patients wounds with knife arms and surgical claws. All of this advanced tech was built in short time due to a certain someone. A very powerful young hero. 

"Brother!" both scream Powder and Vi out as they go to hug Dante. "Now is not the time for a celebration or warm welcoming, I need to save our mother," He confidently said as he looks over to Vander. 

"Dante? But how I thought you back there in the explosion..." Vander also goes to hug Dante, "I knew you can fight back and survive, you manage to protect your sisters and your mother, but I fear your mother doesn't have enough time, I don't know any doctor that can heal her grave wounds. She took three bullets, one to the stomach, her back, and legs I fear the worst Dante, we did everything we could boy, but.." Vander starts to cry as he holds Felicia tightly. 

"We have done everything yet Vander, do you believe in science? In Miracles? I am about to show you science and tech beyond the limits. Mother I am going to save you, trust me, whatever it takes. But it's going to hurt, you won't be the same," Dante said as he holds Felicica's pale dying hands and he lifts up a vial filled with a glowing purple substance. 

"No Dante! You can't use shimmer on her! Have you seen what it does humans, makes them into mindless bloodthirsty zombies!" Vander shouts out in rage. 

"Do you have any other options?" Dante said as he clamps the vial and injects a syringe needle inside of the vial. The shimmer is infused inside the syringe. 

Vander was quite he knew nothing about science or magic. He was a fighter after all, not a thinking after all. A damn good fighter that is, probably the strongest man in Zaun he wasn't called the Hound of Undercity for a reason.

"I thought so, let me do thinking, I will heal her. I have my methods, I am not going to use just pure shimmer ins't that right Doctor Signed?" Dante cunningly said as looks over to a bald man who had toxic mask on, he just nods head and takes off his mask, "You know what must be done Dante to save your mother's live, but are you willing to take the risk? Young apprentice, the mad scientist of Zaun," Doctor Signed said as he glares over at Dante's dying who was coughing even more blood.

"She doesn't have much time left, Vi, Powder, and Vander stay outside, this is going to get crazy and messy. I promise I will do whatever it takes to save our mother," Dante said as he takes Felicia bloody injured body. The bullet wounds were too deep, Dante had to hurry fast before she lost too much blood. Vander, Vi, and Powder trustfully nod their heads to Dante's words. 

Vander, Vi, and Powder cry and all do one last hug to their mother and Vander. 

"Dante please save her. I know you are a smart kid, but maybe I am asking for to much from you, but please save her." Vander begs him. 

"I will do my best. I will use every fiber in mind and body to save her, " Dante said as he holds his dying mother. 

'Some things are worth the risk, what is the point of life I don't take any risk to save the ones I love,' Dante places his mother a surgery table. He remembers all the past memories with his mother, Vi, Powder, and his father, a happy time they were just trying to survive in Zaun, Dante will do whatever it takes to change his destiny and the future of Zaun, to save it from its destruction of Shimmer and of course Silco and the many Chem Barons who abuse their power of deadly enhancing toxins like Shimmer and other toxic drugs. 

"Are you ready Dante? It is time," Signed asks him as gathers more surgery items. 

"Yeah, but I will do this alone doctor, I don't want you interfearing," Dante commanded Signed, he of course was going to use the power of his Template System and Z-Drive Hexcore to save his mother, he could try to go back in time to save her from being shot but that would glitch out his body and kill him if he rewind time far back. But he had to test his limits after all. 

When Dante use the Hextech Grenades he created with his system to blow up the enforcers and bridge he had actually forward time 30 minutes ahead to meet with Doctor Signed and devise a plan to save his dying mother. Silco wasn't with Signed at the time so for Dante it was easy to convince Signed also Dante showed him some powerful tech and other gadgets that caught his attention, tech that had created with is Template System. Dante knew Signed wanted to save his own dying daughter and bring her back from the dead, and Dante said he could do that with new technology he created, So Signed agree to help Dante and give him all of his lab equipment and access to shimmer of course.

"Now it is time for bloody evolution, will l rewrite and change the future, fate and destiny of the Arcane world, let's see the full potential of my Template System and my magic powers and high IQ of Ironman and Batman and of a scientist," Dante now begins to do surgery on his own mother and save her life from her grave injuries with his mind of a young prodigy Scientist and genius tech inventor.

Signed sits outside, he holds a phone to him and dials a number, what was evil thing was he planning?
