Apocalypse: I Have A Blueprint To All Things

In a distant galaxy, a black meteor was streaking through space. It was eerily black similar to a black hole, it was gradually absorbing the light in its path.

Countless celestial objects were destroyed, with a frightening speed it approached a group of an irregular luminous band of stars and gas clouds that spiraled.

May 21, 2030 - 7th barangay of Wolf City - 12 kilometers away from the City.

Under the shade of a tree, a handsome youth sat on a recliner chair. The youth's face was sharp, with thick eyebrows and a tall nose that further enhanced his demeanor.

Sweat trickled on the youth's face, as he stared at the sky with excitement.

"Puaa summer is approaching, I can finally rest from school activities." Mel Gate exclaimed as he drank a cola.

It was hot in the Philippines, especially when summer was fast approaching.

But contrary to the hot temperature, Mel Gates smiled at the sky with a bright face.

'Today will be the start of an awesome summer'

Mel Gates, a first-year civil engineering student. Despite being an orphan and a single dog. He lived a happy life, gaming, anime, and novels are more than enough to live by from this boring world. Although an otaku/shut-in like him are usually condemned by society, but he didn't care.

'I'll live my life in my own way'

Thinking of two months of lazing around in his air-conditioned room, the smile on Mel's face widened.

But, never in his wildest dream to be slapped so harshly by reality.

His bright smile froze, in the sky, he saw a black meteor falling from space. The surrounding of the meteor was continually being distorted. The sky cracked, it was on the brink of being shattered.

"F*CK..." Mel stared at the sky in shock. The Cola in his hands loosened and fell.

The can's noise awakened him from his stupor. Mel immediately dashed towards his house.

After seeing the meteor, Mel instantly remembered his grand grandfather's fallout shelter.

After experiencing world war 2, his grandfather became very paranoid and built a large and sturdy bunker.

As he sprinted, he could see the ground, his house, plants, trees, everything were shaking.

Mel opened the sturdy door of his house, he didn't lock it. He rummaged his desk, trying to find something amidst the used toilet papers.

Finally he found it, it was his best friend—his smartphone. An essential instrument for an introvert and for emergencies.

Then he moved forward, and ran towards his basement with urgency. Of course, he didn't forget the key.

Standing in the bunker, although he had already been in it multiple times. He still can't help himself from being amaze.

The shelter was incredibly large. It was the size of a small warehouse. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a small garden, a kitchen, and a room full of supplies.

"All of my grandparents' wealth must have gone to this place."

Mel laughed with a somewhat shaky tone. With how black meteor fell from the sky, it should have struck Wolf City. With a bit of physics, he could guess that his house—which wasn't that far from the city—would definitely be affected by the impact. The old shelter wasn't also that capable of withstanding the aftershock of a meteor that probably has hundreds of kilometers radius.

Mel crouched under the wooden table with a pale face. He tried to breathe in and out as he steeled himself for the collision.

A large earthquake shook the entire place. His body almost floated in the air, fortunately, he was grabbing the leg of the table.

Mel shuddered in fear. The previously sturdy shelter was gradually crumbling under the effect of the strong earthquake. His grandparents would never expect that their proud work would be obliterated in seconds.

Mel who was hugging the table's leg while closing his eyes to pray didn't notice that a black sphere was already hovering above his house.

It then pierced the shelter's ceiling. The sphere was as huge as an adult's fist. Its color has a frightening resemblance to the meteor. True Black. A color that absorbs light.

Mel didn't react to the sudden intrusion. He was too busy muttering his pray towards God, then black sphere penetrated accurately to his forehead

His mind turned blank and collapse on the floor.

A weird scene that would appall anyone appeared. Mel's body turned true black that spread to the whole shelter. The shelter no longer crumbled, as the black light enveloped the place. It was as if the space of the shelter was separated from the universe.

Chaos continued to engulf the whole world. People in every part of the world cried in despair.

The meteor pierced through the surface of the earth, and position itself in the inner core. The meteor's debris clashed to the surface, loud and reverberating explosions transpired all over the world.

The blue planet promptly expanded under the influence of a mysterious force that came from the black meteor.

The expansion gradually stopped after reaching 500 times.

Thereafter, cold air drifted throughout the planet. Time seemed to stop as the sea freeze and rivers stopped flowing. Earth is once again under the ice age.

Although the cold surroundings can freeze an elephant in an instant. Every creature on the planet from insects to whales. Was surprisingly not influenced by the cold.

Overflowing energy was coursing to every creature on the planet that prevented them from freezing to death.

Amidst the Ice Age. Lifeforms on the planet gradually changed. Ants became the size of a bus. Tigers gained dragon scales and long sharp claws. Horses growing wings and horns. Creatures that only appeared in books slowly came into existence.

Humanity became the most unfortunate. Because of the effect of a certain vaccine, 42 percent of the human population remained unchanged.

While 50 percent mutated sickeningly that would cause disgust and fear. Eyes became bloodshot, nails and teeth became sharp identical to a predatorial beast. Skins mutated to a different color, it was as if it can't be punctured easily.

The remaining 8 percent, was much luckier. Their bodies are glowing, the flows of mysterious energy stream at a much faster rate. Even though their appearance remained unaltered. A powerful force can be felt in their bodies.

The whole planet gradually changes under the influence of the mysterious force.

After seven days since the impact. Earth slowly stabilized. The ice melted from the surface. Creatures surrounded by ice awakened.

The new environment greeted their sight. Trees and plants are vibrant and lush, Enormous mountains that reached the sky. Rivers were like ocean and ocean were like the void in space. The environment looked like a primitive forest from ancient times. Where every entity have gone metamorphosis to their zenith.

Chaos, Destruction, and Killings once again reignited. Mutated Beast fought for food and territory.

While cries rang in cities. Humans scurry for safety as zombies conveyed their bloody claws and razor sharp teeth.

People had already lost their ability to defend. The previously reliable hot weapons were destroyed due to the ice age. While cold weapons were useless in the face of absolute strength that zombies and mutated beasts brought.

After 3 days, humans discovered that there are superhuman among them.

They can't be infected by a bite. And they have awakened supernatural abilities that can withstand mutant beast and fight zombies.

Unwilling to submit from despair, humans banded and fought back against mutated beasts and zombies that prey among them.

After 15 days of bloody battles. With the help of superhumans or awakened people. Human bases were established across the world. Sacrificing 30 percent of the remaining population in the process.

Human cities constructed stable defenses against mutated beasts and zombies.

With only 20% of the population left, and only a quarter being awakened.

Humanity once again officially entered the battle towards supremacy.

25 days after the black meteor hit the earth, Mel eventually awakened from his slumber. The darkness in the shelter receded.

Mel stared at the shelter in a daze. Although in a trance, his eyes were tranquil.

'I managed to survive that‽'

Cracks were all over the place.

It seemed unbelievable. Before passing out, the shelter was already falling apart. He should've been buried in debris by now, yet nothing change. It looked just like before he lost consciousness.

'Could the earthquake stop abruptly, but that's impossible.'

"Wait! I think something struck my head causing me to faint"

Mel checked his head. There's no seemed to be any bump on my head. There's no bleeding either.

When Mel was about to check the surroundings. A voice sounded in his brain and a blue screen emerge in his mind.
