APOCALYPSE AGAIN: destroying all the Hippocrates people

I was sleeping on a familiar bed with machines attached in my whole body and I was feeling pain all over my body but no matter how I scream I knew no body will help me and I know it cause I was what they called a lab rat , all these happened due to my so called family they sold me to scientist so as they can get more connection and protection from them cause my sisters boyfriend was one of the scientist or should I say my cousin?

My parents died when I was 16years old and was taken by my uncle and aunts a member of their family and I was told to call them dad and mom and I kept calling them aunt and uncle they took care of me although they were cold to me but still they treated me well but that was before the apocalypse hit

While we were on the run to find a base to settle down and one day I was pushed by my dear cousin in a horde of zombies as a sacrifice lamb so that they can run away but I survived cause I managed to awaken my fire ability and burn down the group of zombies to ashes , cause my flame was stronger than normal and when the so called family saw me destroying the zombies with my powers , they started to curry favour with me telling me all that family should stay together and made my cousin apologize to me and said she didn't do it on purpose that she pushed me by accident and me being me I believe them and that is when I started being the family slave

When we reached the base due to that I was an ability user I was given a small house so that I can live with my so called family

I started doing mission outside the base to earn points and food for the whole family while my family was sitting around at home doing nothing and eating few month later my cousin awaken her water ability and my uncle awake earth ability but still I was the main provider at home cause my uncle hated going outside fighting zombies , and I thought it was my responsibility taking care of them as they have taken care of me when my parents died in a car accident

Two years later when I was returning from my missions as always I was received by my family warmly than ever and I was so happy that my family was being so good to me and even cooked me a good meal , I was so hungry and ate the meal prepared as always , but I suddenly started to get sleepy all of the sudden and I blacked out , and when I opened my eyes I was bounded in an unfamiliar bed and was told that my family had sold me to be experimented , I was so shocked and mad of what they did to me after all I had done to help them and treated them as my real family but as the saying goes there is no medicine for regret

And here I m now bounded and being used as a lab rat and I m somehow used to pain cause it had been a year I guess I don't know in exact cause I wasn't allowed to go anywhere although they feed me so that I don't die so they can use me more although I wasn't the only lab rat , there were other people who were also used a lab rat we were five in total but one died few days ago and couldn't take the intense pain that she was inflicted with and now there are only four of us and we chat sometimes when the scientist are resting

One day when I was tired and in pain laying bounded after some experiment done with my body I heard a familiar voice and when I opened my eyes I saw my so called cousin standing not far from me with a mocking smile

" are you having fun here my dear sister or should I say cousin " said my stupid cousin while smiling at me which made me want to scratch her smiley face

" why " I asked with my hoarse voice due to the way I was screaming during the experiment

" why what? That we sold you? That is because you were useless to us "

" but ....we are family "

" family my ass do you think we considered you as family? You were just a money making machine for us , my parents took you in because your parents left you a huge inheritance my dear cousin and my dad was receiving a lot of money for raising you , and in your parents will was you can inherit everything after getting married so all we had to do was to stop those suitors until we were able to get your full inheritance and chase you away and your black card helped us a lot getting free money to use but who knew the apocalypse would hit so soon and we had to ran , remember the day I pushed you to be eaten by zombies? I really wanted you to die cause you were so useless to us but who knew you would be able to wake your powers and become useful again? And after being coxed a little you gave in and become our little slave , you were to lucky to awake your ability first and I really hated you for that but mom said we will

take care of you after we awake our abilities but who knew our awaken abilities could be more inferior to you ? how can you be so lucky all the time ? but then we got lucky cause the scientist wanted to taste your amazing strong power that can destroy and burn a zombies body to ash and promise us a life time protection and will be taking care of all our needs just for you ? and you can only blame your self , who told you to be so powerful and stupid enough to trust us ? so for now you can only be a lab rat till the end of your life and I have a surprise to tell you , your parents are alive and they ware searching for you but mom told them that you already died and they were so sad not knowing their poor baby girl is being experimented like a rat what a tragic ooh I remember we can trick your parents here like we tricked you so you can have a family reunion and the scientist will be so happy and increase our payments what do you think? Aren't I a genius? " said my cousin as she laugh so hardly and I was so angry that I was only a piece o chase to them and I started feeling power through my body trying to break free and suddenly I found my self teleport-ed in front of my cousin with my hand chocking her although I was shocked for a second but I still increase my strength in chocking her I wanted her dead then suddenly I felt a stab on the left side of my body and when I look down I saw I was stabbed on the heart by a knife my cousin was holding and I felt pain across my whole body and the strength was leaving my body and my hand left my cousin neck and I fell down and I knew this was the end , I was dying although I was reluctant but there was nothing I could do I really regret trusting them and now my parents are in their clutches but as the saying goes there is no medicine for regret I just hope my parents get to discover their schemes

Then suddenly I heard the door burst ed open and I saw my cousin froze with her mouth open and I saw fear in her eyes then I saw her being pushed away by unknown force and hit the wall and my body was put in someones arms and when I look at the person I saw my mother but she look older now than I last seen her before the accident

" my baby mommy is sorry mom was late "

" mom " I said with a hoarse voice and I could taste a metallic taste of blood in my mouth , I was happy to see them again and fine and I was also sad that I was dying and couldn't stay with them , my mom was crying and my dad was looking at me with red eyes

" I m so sorry my child mommy is so sorry I m sorry that I wasn't there for you and protect you" said my mom crying and I started feeling dizzy and my eyes were closing

" I love you mom" I said as I drifted to the darkness

If I were to be given a last chance I would never be stupid like I once was , I thought as I lost my consciousness
