<I just don't understand Magnus, why does it matter what I am. When she learned I was a vampire... she looked at me like all the others, as if i am some kind of a monster. She was the only girl I opened myself up to, but in the end, that also back fired. It doesn't matter how I act, or my personality. In their eyes I will be a monster. An abomination.>

I have been at Magnus's house chilling and drinking with him all day and night long.

<You know what Magnus. You are the older brother I always wanted but couldn't have, you know what fuck it come give your little brother a hug you bastard.>

He seemed a little uncomfortable but also happy.

<Yes come here you blood sucking teddy bear.>

While we hugging brotherly, the door knocked and before I could understand what's happening in my intoxicated state, Magnus pushed me into my room. Yes I have a personal room at Magnus's apartment, he makes the best alcohol in the world.

<Stay in here and don't come out until I tell you to.>

===>Magnus POV<===

I knew what it was, a message rune used by the shadow hunters so the can send something like a projection to the person they want to talk to. My wards blocked it and sent it as a recorded message. The thing I saw in the message was the necklace I had made for my previous lover.

===>Dante POV<===

What the hell am I doing, Clary didn't betray me, she was scared of me because she doesn't understand what I am, and the only way I can have her back willingly is by helping her through this mess. Just as I was wondering what the hell I was going to do Magnus come in.

<Dante, drink this>

He gave me something purple to drink.

<What's this?>

He looked at me straight in the eyes.

<Stronger alcohol.>

<Ok.>

I drank the whole bottle. But instead of making me drunker it made me sober.

<Magnus. Pleas tell me you didn't just made me sober for no god dame reason.>

<I need to go somewhere for a trade and I need you to protect me.>

<Sure, no problem.>

I stood up and left the apartment with Magnus.

<So where are we going?>

<A club, we will be meeting 4 shadow hunters they have something I want.>

I looked at him.

<I will stay at the back, if you need me call me or get in.>

===>One hour later<===

As I was drinking blood from a cup, I heard Magnus call from me. When I opened a door I saw Alec, Jace, Isabelle and Clary.

<Clary? What are you doing here?>

<Dante?>

I saw a couple shadow hunters who were attacking Jace and Alec I sped behind two of them ripped their hearts out, then lunged at the third and devoured him. As I turned to Magnus a new shadow hunter attacked me and stabbed me through my stomach.

<You really needed to ruin my suit.>

I turned to the shadow hunter and ripped his head from his shoulders.

<Magnus open a portal and let's go.>

I sped in front of Clary picked her up on my shoulder and started walking towards Magnus.

<Put her down.>

I looked at Jace.

<Clary, please don't tell me I leave you alone for one day, and you found a new boyfriend.>

<What. Of course not, they are my friends who are helping me find my mother.>

<But, why didn't you ask me for help?>

<After we had the argument all the employees and even Raphael looked at me with hostility, when I asked if I could meet you, they told me you weren't there.>

Oh fuck me...

<Ok let's talk later, Jace, Alec, Isabelle let's go.>

Magnus opened a portal to his apartment.

<Now that that is over, I am going to take a shower, Clary do you want to join me?>

<No, Dante, until we talk about all of this I am not sleeping with you.>

I looked at her with a sad smile and went to take a shower.

===>Clary POV<===

When Dante went through the door I looked at the others who were looking at me with astonishment.

<Are you really dating him?>

Isabelle asked me with wide eyes.

<Yea, we have been dating for a year now.>

Jace, Alec and Isabelle looked at me with pitying gazes.

<why are you guys looking at me like that? he wasn't that bad. He may have been busy but we always hung out.>

<Wait, Clary, he did it mistreat you, like hit you or drink your blood?>

<No he was sweet, sarcastic and even serious sometimes. We are fighting because I learned he was a vampire recently. And I may have overreacted a little.>

I saw Magnus Bane, a warlock smile.

<That reminds me. What was he doing with you?>

<Many don't know this but I was his mentor when he became a vampire. Which was a year ago,>

Alec looked surprised.

<Wait. So he, Dante Redgrave is only a 1 year old vampire? So the rumor of him being a ripper is true then.>

I started getting annoyed of people not informing me of what they are talking about.

<Can you guys please, tell me who is Dante and what is a ripper>

Alec looked at me and answered.

<A ripper is a vampire who becomes stronger by drinking the blood of their victims till they die. And Dante Redgrave is the strongest being you can find. He has connections with the seelies, werewolves and warlocks. He and his clan of 20 thousand vampires keep the mundanes and other Downworlders safe from criminals.>

Just as Alec stopped Magnus started.

<He and his clan also take in new vampires or werewolves and teach them the rules and what not to do. He then takes in the vampires and sends the werewolves to an allied pack, where the werewolves will at least have a decent life. For that reason he is the most loved vampire in the shadow world. So if you are the girl he told me about then he will 100% help you find your mother. But before that we will need to summon a greater demon to get your memories back.>
