An Extraordinary Journey

My name is Rahul. I was born in New Delhi in India. I had three other family members. I was from a middle-class family. I had one sister as well. I had quite a good body. My appearance was not poor either. I had black hair, blue eyes and a good face. My height was 6 feet as well.

I was well-known among my peers.

My father name is Prashant. He was a school teacher in a primary private school. He was a man of morals. The people around us always praised him. I had never heard someone say bad about him. Though he used to drink sometimes.

My mother name was Heena. She was just a housewife. She was a good mother.

My sister name was Kangana. She was 2 years younger than me. She was studying in a government school.

I had a good life. A happy life without having to worry about anything. My life was good until that happened.

I was in my 10th grade when I got hit by a truck. It was a drink and drive case. My legs were broken beyond repair. I had to undergo an operation so the doctors could remove both legs. It was the moment when everything in my life went downhill. My father used all of the money for this operation. My mother had to start working in other houses for some extra money.

The truck driver however was living happily because he was working for someone high in the government sector. The police couldn't do anything in this matter. They were powerless in our situation. My father tried everything to put them in jail but failed miserably.

I had to leave my school and study from home. I was depressed seeing so much sadness in my home. We stopped laughing and eating together. After some months I became numb to this. I stopped caring for everything and instead started to use my phone more frequently. I got addicted to anime and manga. The place where I found my happiness. I loved how you could get anything in there. I loved the battles and the girls. I used to imagine being reincarnated there.
