Chapter 13 Sylvia

Next morning

Teo stretched his body. His silver hair had golden strands, but he didn't notice it. Teo picked up the basin. He went to wash himself.

Anna wakes up. She had a strange dream about her brother. To be precisely, she saw her brother's death. He was batting against the highest God by himself. No one helped him. Anna tried to help him however she couldn't move her body. Her body was stuck like an ice sculpture. Anna rubbed her eyes

" What a strange dream."

She looked at her brother's bed. Anna yawns

" It seems brother has gone out to wash himself. Although there is a bathtub, brother always do this."

Anna packed her belongings with Teo's. She carefully put things inside the space pouch and backpack. She wiped her sweat.

" I should wash myself."

Before going to the washroom, she saw Teo's worn out sword. Anna helplessly smiled,

" It seems I have to buy a new one."

Teo came in. He wiped his body. Anna who saw this, immediately scolded him

" Brother, why don't you care about this? I have told you many times."

Teo said lowly

" I didn't mean it, but it is my habit."

Anna sighed, she pouted like a little child

" Brother, you are a fool. There are plenty of girls who are chasing you, and you are increasing their numbers every day. Look outside. See there are peelers everywhere."

Teo coughs

" Well it's not my fault to be handsome. Besides, you rather look happy. You are proud of me, right."

Anna denied immediately. She said coldly

" Just wear your clothes or else the girl behind you will faint."

Teo looked back. He saw the receptionist girl. The girl was blushing, she quickly handed the towel and ran away with a shame. Anna sighed

" Brother let's go already. Someone is waiting to us."

Teo buttoned his coat and picked up his sword

" I know, let's hurry up."

Anna gave the backpack to Teo. Two of them dashed towards the gate.

In the meeting site

A girl with blonde hair sits down. She pushed her glasses back to her nose bridge.

" They are late."

Suddenly wind blows up. The girl held her skirt. It was Teo. Teo extends his hand

" Are you alright?"

The girl frowns, she felt uncomfortable. She pushed Teo's hand

" I am fine."

Teo looked at the girl with a serious look. His intuition told this girl isn't simple.

" Brother, you have left me."

Anna came out. She was panting. Teo smiled warmly

" I am sorry."

Anna waved her hands. She looked at the girl.

" Perhaps are you the person who we are waiting?"

The girl gently waved her hair. She said proudly

" Indeed, I am. My name is Sylvia Windchaser. I am an archer who specializes in sneak attacks."

Anna extends her hand, she said politely

" Anna Cross and that is my brother Teo Cross. Don't look him as a cold person. In fact my brother is a quite nice person. Also, I am a mage and my brother is a vanguard."

Sylvia nodded with approval. She thinks this team formation is feasible. One vanguard, archer with a mage is the standard formation. If you add one priest, it will be perfect. Unfortunately they don't have any priest besides hiring a priest is quite expensive. Sylvia put this matter aside

" So where are we going?"

Teo said with indifference, his eyes showed a sharp look.

" Harusa desert. We are going to hunt down the salamander."

Sylvia choked, she thought she heard it wrong.

Anna said calmly.

" We are going to kill a salamander."

Sylvia raised her voice

" But they are b rank monsters and not only that they are peak in the b rank."

Teo said lightly, his tone was calm as water

" I know. But we have confidence to hunt it down."

Sylvia raised her tone,

" But you two aren't strong enough to kill it."

Anna raised her eyebrows. She smiled,

" Who said we are weak?"

Her mana burst out immediately. Sylvia was shocked to see such mana.

" I am a human realm peak while my brother is high general level. We can hunt down one little lizard."

Sylvia looked at them speechless. She thought this is madness.
