It was dark and eerie, the wheezing sound of the snowy forest. As she ran frantically through the thick forest, her green eyes scanned the forest up and down, in her attempt to look back, a loud piercing and deafening sound echoed through the forest, it was her brother, Erebus' voice.

He is in pain!

And she could not do anything about it. Except she could. But she does not gave her wolf yet.

She watched in horror as she stood in a pool of blood, a dark brown wolf tearing up her brother's flesh as Erebus was not able to fight back.

She could feel the desperation in their mother's voice as she urges them to keep running without looking back. They needed to get through to their father for help.

They finnaly arrived near a river, in their attempt of taking a break, a loud growl came from behind them and her mother quickly pushed her to hide her near the river bank, where she feels was safer.

"No mum I am not leaving you alone. I am not going to leave _".

"You have to. Do you trust mummy?". Her mother asks, forcing the tear in her eyes back. Her mother was aware of what would befall her.

"Do not make any sound promise me?".

She answered with a nod, not wanting to let go.

She didn't reply.

But for her mother's sake she merely obeyed.

Her mother left, thinking she had managed to save her daughter's life. They have been in a alot of pain. It hurts.

She could not let this continue.

So Halsey looks to the sky. And played to the moongodddess for her wolf so she could at least help her brother.

"Any thing you want. I will do anything, I will give anything to trade for the life of my mother, father and brother. Just please keep them safe. I may be young but I need your help I do not care the consequences. Just safe my family"

She prayed, Sobbing.

And suddenly there was lightening from the sky, and a voice echoed through.

A gentle female's voice voice, beautiful yet powerful echoed through the forest where she is hidden near the river.

"I shall grant your request dear child. But are you ready for the life you would live onward?"

The voice asks. Halsey saint say anything af first. Stunned that her prayer was answered?.

Was that the moon godddess' voice?.

She waited a bit for the voice again.

"I shall grant your request dear child. But are you ready for the life you would live onward?. You have little time, this request can only be granted once. And your life shall be better after you meet your true mate".

So he was not dreaming then. Her prayer was heard.

"Yes. Yes I want my request to be granted. As long as my family is safe".

Halsey wakes up in cold sweat, scanning her environment, she was used to these place, she was always in a deplorable condition.

Her room, tiny, and for her size only. Cluttered and damaged on every parts. Every where seemed to be deemly lit.

That was the life of an Omega. Since she had been relegated to the lowest omega status by the Alpha of these pack.

Scourged and purnished, abused by her fellow omegas too.

Every morning she wakes up, it feels like she was waking up to meet her end. As these purnishment is too much to bare.

All of these broke Halsey heart, because she was falsely accused of her father's current condition. Her father was once a powerful beta of the pack.

Constantly, Halsey always hoped that when she turned eighteen, she would meet her mate and leave these hell hole.

At least that was the life she bargained for.

She glanced at the wall clock,on the left corner of her tiny room, it was four in the morning. She need to get up very early, earlier than other omegas of the pack, to have her bath quickly before anybody does, so she would not be bullied for that too. Halsey, managed to finish her early morning work, which are to clean the dinning room, the kitchen they would be cooking and she had time to wash her only second cloth.

These cloth was given to her by Ariana, daughter of the Gamma.

And bullying Halsey is the top on her lists of desires.

After Halsey was done with her pre-work of the day,it was already 8am, and everyone was set for their daily activities.

She still had time to rest because she was done with her morning duties.

But she was not going back to sleep, but going back to bed would only bring unwanted nightmares. So she decided to take a walk in the garden, these she always do, since she knows these place is always isolated. Which only means she could have her own time to her self without anybody around to bully her and throw dirty talks at her.

She was engraved in her thoughts and did not see Arianna and other Omegas, on the part she was going through. Arianna was planting, that was the only thing she was known for doing. Apart from bullying the lower ranks.

Her roses, she named them her babies. The girl, sometimes makes Halsey want to puke. But she dared not show these expression before her, it was more purnishment she would be calling for.

"Hey. Low-life Omega. What are you doing wandering around my garden?". That was Halsey's name to Ariana.

Oh! How did she walk to these part without knowing.?

Ofcourse these was Arianna's garden.

Another purnishment was expected.

"Now you pick one of the pruners and gently prune my babies. I don't want you pass on your misfortunes unto those precious babies of mine." Arianna said and smirked.

Inclining her head in submission, she took the bypass pruner and started pruning the dead ending roses. More depressing words has been passed to her, so these one was a little, all she has to do is keep her head low, and keep her.mouth shut, no matter how much she was going through.

Her thoughts wander to her mother, her mother also liked roses. She had been the one who always prunes the dead ending roses for her mother too.

A wave of sadness washed through her. She was lost in her thoughts once again,

She did not notice the roses fall to the floor as she had mistakenly cut them off.

Until Ariana's childish voice said from behind.

Although the girl was 2 years older than Halsey, but she did not look her age. Ariana is just plain childish.

"Oh my_ my precious babies. Look what you have done to them. How dare you pass on your misfortunes to them?.". Arianna's tiny palm landed on Halsey's cheeks, Halsey was expecting worse though.

So she did not flinch when the slap landed on her cheeks.

"I am sorry miss Arianna" Halsey quickly apologize as usual,even though her apologies always fall on deaf ears as she would still be purnished.

Because of these, other Omegas was purnished along with her, they were tasked to wash all the cottons in the castle and that Halsey wash the sheets alone.

Arianna left the garden angrily.

"Look how you have brought your misfortune unto us too. Just like you did your family." One of the omegas said and hissed.

"You do all the washing, we can only help you dry the cottons when you are done washing both cottons and sheets". Another one continued, angered.

"I am to wash the both?". Halsey asked softly, too much work, she was not sure she can be able to complete the task. She has barely eaten anything, it was the remnants of the people who eat breakfast she ate.

"You dare questions us?". The angry looking omega slaped Halsey hard and she lost her balance, her butt hitting the floor as a tear streamed down her cheeks.

"You caused all these. Because of you we could not go and rest before afternoon duties". Another kick landed on her back , followed by additional beatings.

She knew something like these was coming, she already had scars on her body, and these one will just be an additional one.

After they scourged her to their satisfactions, they went and slaplashed mud on her. Her cloth is ruined, she was angry at her self, because these was the the clothe she planned on wearing these week, as she had just washed her other remaining cloth.

After Halsey was done with all her tasks, she walked back in, her clothes dirty, the mid still prominent on her cloth as she had decided to change after her tasks.

She got home, and was met with her dinner, rice, It was tossed on the ground by the Omega with the angry look. The one who threw mud at her.

"You killed your own mother and brother, you, do not deserve to live among us. You are just a lowly omega, unworthy of eating".

Halsey did not reply to these, because she was used to these kind of things. Else she picked the rice from the ground, covered with dirt, and walked to her room, leaving behind the mocking laughters of her fellow omegas.

She silently walk towards her family picture. Feeling heartbroken,and reminded by the incident that happened when she was only eight.

When she transmigerated in the body of another Omega. But this life was even much worse.

Because of the incident that happened to her and her family. Her brother and mother was attacked by their enemies pack. And they ended up dying in their attempt of keeping her safe.

In her new body, she was the only survivor in her family.

But her real family is safe. And that was what keeps her going.
