Chapter 07 – Friends

"Did you see that bro!!"

"Yes, That bomb really exploded!"

As energetic as always, the twin brothers Vinay and Vivek talked to themselves as they jumped out of the jeep.

"Be careful. It's just the beginning. I doubt that it had done any real damage to him"

Raahi, who was getting up from the driver's seat warned them. He was wearing a hunter's jacket, fully prepared for a hunt. the twins and his brother Raj who was sitting behind wore the same. Another jeep parked behind them and other two people came out. They were inside the fog and decided to walk from now.

"But even though, I still can't believe that this fog is also created by him. I couldn't sense a single thing when we first entered but after the explosion, the fog started to clear and everything is coming back..."

Jacob said as he lifted his short sword in the air to take another look. It was so shiny that it was made up of liquid metal and can flow out any second.

"...Everything went as that old man said."

He swung his blade a few times and tried to cut the fog.

"Quit your babbling yapping and move your ass. I'm dying for action"

Lucifer, who had already started to walk towards the fog yelled at the group. But before going out, Raahi reminded him.

"Don't forget to lure him far enough for Ida to get behind him ok? And remember, without your ring or your axe, you're not much of a threat to him. Your brute force won't work against him"

"Yeah, yeah"

Raahi looked at his back until it completely disappeared inside the fog. Everyone was outside the vehicles by now and were busy prepping their designated weapons. He searched for Ida but found out that he already went ahead after the explosion.

He also didn't want to waste time and once again addressed everyone and reminded them about their plan.

"Vinay, Vivek, wait until we try to lure out them and make sure to be quick to find nagmani and charge the amulet"

"Yes yes!"

They both replied at the same time and disappeared inside the fog.

"Raj, there is still a spare gun inside the trunk. This is the only way to that lead to town and there is a slight possibility that they will run in this direction, but make sure to stay vigilant"

"You don't have to worry about anything brother. If they'll come here, then I'll make sure to make them regret their decision"

"Good" Raahi nodded. He brought him just to guard the vehicles but he didn't like the idea to tell him that.

Raahi unsheathed his Talwar that he brought along and looked at Jacob.

"Like before, I'll distract her and you bind her like planned understood?"

"Yeah, but can we really use magic like that and kill them?" Jacob asked as he took out a long rope and tied it to his belt.

"Well, as Sage told, we can bind them for a few moments and stall for time until the twins found the nagmani and recharge the amulet. Only then we get the power to kill them"

"That's what I'm telling! Do you really believe that these rings will give power?"

Jacob was a rational person and wouldn't believe superstitious things like magic. But what does he know? He arrived just yesterday and was only briefed about the plan.

"He's a real deal. I saw him using magic with my own eyes many times to believe now. Come on, we can't fall behind them"

Jacob didn't object and followed Raahi inside the fog.

"Seven hells, what happened"

Zuusha shook his head violently after he got up. His tanned body was now covered by dust and he didn't like it one bit. He always preferred his body clean and just before coming to Bhu-loka, he shed his old skin after turning into a full serpent. After dusting himself, when he looked around, Kalpa was nowhere to be seen and the whole temple was now flattened. But the thing he thought would never happen in Bhu-loka was happening before his eyes.

'it's clearly magic, but how' he thought.

When he entered this realm, he only used little mana to produce this magical fog and dropped his guard. The fog wasn't quite powerful, but it would be plenty in this magic-less world. It would alert him to anyone who enters the fog and make them lose their way. Not even animals will be spared. Inside his fog, he can sense any moving thing. But that's where he went wrong. He would sense even an ant walking, but not an elephant that was staying still in front of him.

And the explosion was also wasn't normal. It was a spell that was infused with rock and mixed with magic by Sage and made it like no one would sense. It can only be activated when someone tears the seal that contained the activation spell and in this case, the twins Vinay and Vivek were the ones that tore them.

Zuusha tried to release some more mana into the air and sense where Kalpa was and what was happening inside the fog but to his surprise, he was blocked by another mana that was present in the atmosphere. It was even making his fog lose control and extinguish. He even lost his sense of nagmani as it was in the middle of the explosion. All of it was making his blood boil like magma and his face turning into that of a demon.

'fools, fools, fools. Interrupting my marriage, interrupting my ritual, interrupting my magic. Just who do they think they are? They had just awakened the wrath inside me. They had to pay, they had to pay.'

"THEY HAD TO PAYYY!!"

Zuusha screamed his lungs out. It was the first time that someone he didn't even meet once in his life has been offending to the point of losing control over his body in rage. That was until he heard footsteps coming towards his direction from behind the temple.

By the sounds, this person who was coming was rather careless and walked hastily. By the smell, a human in his prime. Zuusha pointed his trident in the direction the human was coming and readied his position. A few moments later, a human with a bulky build came forward from the scrubs, holding a string that had a dimly glowing stone tied to its end and magically or not, that stone was attracted to Zuusha.

"So there you are. I thought I was lost and planning to kill that shitty old bag but who knew that this would actually work! HA"

The man who came from the forest and stood in front of Zuusha had a giant-like body that measured 6.8 feet (207cm), he had a square-shaped face that was now delighted to see the person in front of him. On his right hand, was a beautiful shiny silver axe that was reflecting the moonlight and a red ring that was resting. That axe was fairly large and fitted perfectly for his build. He dropped that string and raised his axe.

"I heard a lot about ya. They said you are a weakling from another world and came here to become a man? Pathetic. Did you lose your balls or what?"

Lucifer tried to provoke Zuusha, who was simply standing there with his head held down but even after listening to all those remarks, he simply stood without taking any action. Thinking that his provocation didn't work, he tried to provoke even more.

"What are you waiting for? Are you not going to kill me? Is that your weapon? Not the one you are holding but the one that was hanging in between your legs, what was that called? I heard Excalibur but when I look at yours the one thing that came to my mind was a type of banana you know. I can't remember its name but I knew it was the size of a pinkie finger. I wonder if you popped your cherry or wha…."

"GODDAMMED SEVEN HELLS!!!!! A fucking mortal is offending a being like me!"

Lucifer sneered when he heard the outburst of Zuusha. He was wondering what he would do if his provocations didn't work but he was worried for nothing. He already heard from that old man that Nagas have pride that can't be measured. Surely they would lose their cool if they are insulted like this. It became even more perfect as Zuusha himself came running towards Lucifer.

'Now, my dear weapon. Show me your powers'
