Getting sent back

In the present

The Saltzman twins were not the only people worried with Hope's disappearance. Clarke was also panicking, but for an entirely different reason. Clarke knew the people who worked at Triad wanted Hope Mikaelson gone after what happened with Malivore. One person destroyed Malivore while the school held the workers off. Clarke had decided to go to Triad to see if anything was happening even if it was risky he couldn't let Hope just disappear like that. He couldn't care less about what happened to the Saltzman twins as long as his father was destroyed.

There Clarke stood at the entrance of Triad hoping to find some information on how to find Hope. He looked around the building and couldn't find anyone. It looked like everyone had truly evacuated the building for the time being. When he was searching he noticed a few monsters in the building. He couldn't ask the twins for help since they left, but he knew they were probably trying to find their own way to find Hope. To Clarke, it didn't matter the way as long as the result was the same.

He had spent a couple hours searching the safer areas of Triad and wasn't able to find what he needed. So he went out and saw people walking towards the entrance of Triad industries. The group of people were all wearing red hoods with the Triad symbol on them. He hid behind a wall as they entered and stayed hidden as they walked past the spot where he was hiding. They didn't notice him, but he had learned that Triad had done something to Hope. From the information he had learned he had already started planning on how to get Hope. He just needed to contact the twins and tell them the information he learned.

In New Orleans

The Saltzman twins have been in New Orleans for a few days at this point and there still wasn't any sign of Freya. They had visited Rousseau's everyday since their arrival and were thinking back to the spell that Professor Vardemus had told them about. The streets of New Orleans remained busy as it had been since they got there. Lizzie and Josie were on their way to Rousseau's once again. As the days went on without word from Hope they still couldn't come up with anything. They had asked around to see if anyone had seen Hope in there, and they all said no.

"Lizzie, it's been a couple days I think we should go back and consult with the headmaster." Josie told Lizzie as they went into Rousseau's to see if Freya was back yet.

"What was that spell Professor Vardemus told us about again?" Lizzie asked as they took a seat at a table.

Josie seemed to be against the idea of Lizzie using black magic and said, "Lizzie, he said it would be too dangerous for just us to cast that."

"What can I get you two?" The waitress they had seen the first time they came there asked.

"Is Freya back yet?" Josie asked the waitress.

The waitress just looked at the both of them and sighed before saying, "She isn't back, but I can let her know you two stopped by."

Josie looked pleased with the answer and said, "That would be great! Could we ask you to give her something?"

The waitress knew Freya and could already understand that this had to do with Hope, so she agreed. The waitress would be given a letter to hand to Freya when she gets back. Lizzie got up first with Josie thanking the waitress once again before following Lizzie. As they walked through the streets of New Orleans; they were walking back to the place they were staying at. As they walked they discussed what they would write to Freya in the letter.

On the letter they wrote, Dear Freya Mikaelson,

Hope disappeared, and we have done almost every locator spell we can think of to find her. We came to New Orleans looking for you to see if you could help us, but you were out of town. Hope has been missing for a couple days and no one has seen her. So, when you get this letter please let us know if you know anything or can help us.

From Josie and Lizzie Saltzman

After getting back to Mystic Falls

Josie and Lizzie had gone back to Mystic Falls after handing the letter to the waitress. On the bus ride back Josie had convinced Lizzie to consult Professor Vardemus about Hope's disappearance. They had gotten back in Mystic Falls early in the morning and began heading back to the school. As soon as the twins got back to the school they went to their rooms to unpack their clothes. They took a short nap before they went to see Professor Vardemus.

After they woke up they were called to the headmaster's office. When they got to the Headmaster's office Professor Vardemus told them, "You both missed multiple days of school."

Lizzie looked over at Josie hinting that she should speak instead of her. Josie told Professor Vardemus, "We know that, but our friend Hope has been missing over the past few days. We just went to go look for help in tracking her down."

Professor Vardemus told the twins, "I know your friend is missing. You had told me earlier before you both left. During your time away from the school I had done some research and found information on your friend."

When the twins heard what Professor Vardemus said they both glanced at each other before paying more attention to what he says.

Professor Vardemus continued to speak, "Apparently a bunch of witches from the place called, Triad, if I can recall correctly."

Both Josie and Lizzie looked shocked at the mention of Triad. Lizzie told Professor Vardemus, "We are going to need a few more days off."

"Lizzie!" Josie exclaimed. Josie was hesitant when dealing with Triad Industries because of what happened last. She had a feeling thing weren't going to end well and was becoming more hesitant as time went on. She didn't want anything to happen to her sister after everything they have been through together. This same sentiment applied to Hope even after Landon chose Hope. Hope and Lizzie are very important to Josie.

"I will permit you both to search for your friend longer, but let me know what the results are. Supernatural creatures have to stick together. I will also say I had permitted you both to leave the past couple days." Professor Vardemus told them. He was happy that his plan was coming together smoothly. He used the time of the twins being gone to grab items from their room and put it in Triad industries. This way the witches he saw earlier would be inclined to send the twins to Hope.

"Thank you." Josie told Professor Vardemus as they began walking out of the office.

Lizzie was confused and slightly annoyed on why Josie was acting like this and couldn't help asking, "Why are you so against these risks?"

Josie did want to help Hope, and she didn't know the exact reason she was so hesitant. The only thing Josie could think of was this bad feeling she had. Josie told her sister the only thing she could explain, "I just have a bad feeling."

Lizzie looked over at her twin and could tell her twin was telling the truth. She sighed and decided to try to be nice in this situation and said, "If you want to stay you can. I can just go check it out myself; besides I think I deserve this hero moment."

Josie just sighed and said, "I don't want you to go alone. You know what Triad is capable of, let's just go tomorrow morning."

The next day at Triad industries

"It looks so empty." Lizzie muttered to herself as her and Josie walked into the building. They were looking around, but everything looked to be abandoned. So they went deeper into the building hoping to find Hope. After walking for a while they saw someone in a red hood quickly walk into another light.

They decided to follow this person in the red hood as they thought of resorting to magic if they try anything. They were following the person in the red hood with the triad symbol and had walked down many corridors. They soon reached a single door that the person in the red hood entered. They and stopped before opening it unsure if that is the right decision.

Lizzie and Josie looked at each other before nodding and entering the door. When they entered they immediately saw several people in red hoods with the triad symbol on them surrounding them. They looked around for a second and couldn't find Hope, so they started to cast a spell, but before they could finish the people in red hoods started to cast a spell. This spell unknown to the Saltzman twins was the same spell that sent Hope to the past. Before they could continue the spell they had planned to use they held their heads and went down on the ground. They couldn't stay conscious as long as Hope because they didn't have any super-healing, so they soon passed out. Josie and Lizzie couldn't pay attention to the words used in the spell same with Hope because of the pain it caused.

In the past

Now both Lizzie and Josie were in the past with Hope. For some reason the spell they used made it, so they went back to Mystic Falls. The twins were still passed out in the same spot Hope woke up when she was sent there.
