Sending Rimuru to Dwargon

Waking from my meditation four hours later I quickly set about tidying up the bedroom, cleaning the remnants of our nightly activities and naturally clearing my wives of their own messes. Fortunately they were dead asleep, their bodies unmoving and their snores unabated by my rather obvious magical movements. The entire room smelt funky after our night so I opened the windows to flush the smell out via my wind magic. Prestidigitation was the most useful spell on the planet, I swore.

After tidying up the rather pungent smelling main bedroom I ventured downstairs, the kitchen robotics already making food for me and my women. Today we would be having bacon and eggs on toast, with juice made from a berry in the forest. Using the time that I would usually use to make food I started to prepare for my women, my body currently naked as I summoned a little naked apron, wrapping it around me as I set about making them the sweets for their breakfast. Baking was a rare thing in the world I used to live in, usually being reserved for the house wives of the middle class or rich during war... I, and many other women, had to resort to wilder styles of living. The men of the world, the little that remained after all of the fighting were still striving hard, their attitudes much more masculine and caring than the men that were spoken about just fifty years prior. Goals for many women at that time were to become the wife of a well-respected man and bear his children. Unfortunately for me in my last life I never did take a fancy to men, much preferring the company of my fellow women. Thus, you could imagine the pains and struggles I went through, especially considering the fact that I declined a man on my thirtieth birthday, the audacity of my action driving the people around me to outcast me and send me to the borderlands again.

'Luckily I'm in this world now!' I hummed as I mixed the flower, water and eggs that had been bought from Eurazania. My goal for this batch of food was to become cookies, using some Coco-bean extracts that had apparently already grown to a sizable degree, my druid domain and the dryad's own magics working wonders on our productiveness. I was essentially going to make some chocolate chip cookies.

Half an hour of work and figuring out how things were mixed or done later I finally placed my cookies into the magical oven, the heat pouring out as I opened it up. My cooking was done now as the robots would automatically take them out when they were finished, or near to. With that out of the way I began to do some spring cleaning using my magic, the dust and various other messes whipping up into the air, coalescing into a small ball or mound in mid-air before I thrust it out of a nearby window. Despite the status of my wives I decided to put on the fireplace, alighting it with a flick of my pinkie finger. The house soon becoming warm and cosy because of this.

I didn't have much else to do so I spent the rest of the time, waiting for my wives, cultivating. I had already gained several thousand MPs last night, the excess stats I would usually accumulate burgeoning into my Magicule Pool instead, my Demon Lord Seed burning softly in the pit of my stomach. Soon I would need to do untold atrocities against soldiers who all had families and loved ones, generals who only wished for most of their men to survive and the naïve and unprepared summoned people who thought all of this was a game. I pitied them as much as I could, my mercenary attitude kicking in moments later as I just shrugged off the emotions of it all. Much like in my past life, I did this not because I enjoyed killing or wished to kill, but simply for survival... They wished to take away my peace and my family, why should I hold back? And I wouldn't.

The first stirrings of my lovely wives was the sound of Milim falling off of the bed, crawling along the floor and eventually reaching the toilet from which she had a very alluring moan. Apparently there was still some sensitivity from last night's deflowering. Shuna was next as she didn't fall out of the bed but softly stood up and walked over to the bathroom, jumping into the shower and whistling away in complete enjoyment. Last night being the second time she had done the deed with me or anyway for that matter. I was proud of that specific detail...

'If Milim keeps that up I'm gonna go up there and rail her again...'

Unfortunately for me Milim slowly calmed down, both of my women now in the very fancy shower washing off in hot water, steam rising around them. Yes, i was snooping on my own wives with my powerful eyes... And I loved it. My cultivation had long since ceased as I joyfully stood up and went into the kitchen, the stove on a warming mode in order to keep the cookies fresh and perfectly cooked. Dragging said cookies out I grasped the plates of food that had been left in a warmer, putting them on the table alongside my cookies and the grape-juice. Both Milim and Shuna came down stair, their bodies fully clothed as usual except for Milim who went with a flowy dress of bright red colour and some beautiful leather straps around her form. I would say she looked stunning but I am too biased to make the declaration. Shuna was the same as always, dressed in a rather nice comfortable dress that accentuated her perfect body and the pink of her hair. My attire was what surprised them however as I greeted them in an apron, naked, Milim immediately licking her lips as a blush spread across her face. Shuna didn't know I was naked yet as I had yet to turn around and flash her my ass, which I fully intended to do.

"Hey honey, sweetie... I made breakfast and some cookies." As soon as I said that Milim leapt at the table, seating herself down at the plate with the largest cookies available. Chuckling I looked at my other wife, her expression oozing wit love and care.

"I love you Silvi." She said it openly as she walked forwards and grasped me in a hug, her hands clasping around my waist, letting her understand that I was naked still. This didn't deter her though as all she did was grasp my ass and push my waist into her.

"Mmm, settle down sweetie, if we do it now we may not get to work..." I made the cutest and softest voice I could. And like that, we spent the rest of our available morning following in the footsteps of last night.

... An hour or two later we all emerged from the house, the outside appearance of it stunning the usual residents around it as many stood at a distance looking on in jealousy and wanting. Apparently I had started a trend, I figured this out when I got to work, as many requests were coming into the construction industry for houses like the one I had.

For now however we were on our way to work, our dresses all professional and perfectly presentable. Milim apparently had met with Iralia yesterday when she had been frustrated by walking with me, she now had a job as a bouncer of sorts, cleaning up the riff-raff for a couple gold coins a day. To put it into perspective, 2 gold coins was enough to feed a family for a week or two and she was getting it every single day that she worked there. Now, admittedly, having a Demon Lord as a bouncer was metal as fuck and also extremely useful but the offer had only apparently worked when Iralia added honey supplies into the mix. In relation to this point, Milim soon took off towards her job, waving goodbye to me and Shuna who were a little saddened that she wasn't interested in working with us.

I knew she didn't like stuffy atmospheres but it still kind of sucked that she was doing something else. "Let's go Shuna, we better not be late considering the send off we have to give." She took her arm in mine and we walked hand-in-hand with each other to the office.

The city was bustling and moving at this time, workers moving towards their shifts and jobs, police patrolling the streets and the children racing around under the feet of their parents as she went out shopping. Carts and Wagons drove past with horses or other mounted creatures pulling the constructs behind them. Human merchants from nearby kingdoms and the Kingdom of Dwargon walked through the markets, hoping to secure unique products for their own trading means back home. Soldiers wondered through the streets with their armour gleaming and spears leaning up against their shoulders, extended into the air. Pride filled me at these various scenes, what was it to build a nation? Was it to build the structures or ensure productivity? No, it was the people, the security with which they had, the prosperity in their wallets and the lives they lived. A nation could have shit structures and little to no prosperity but still be comfortable because of its citizens.

A country needed managers and leaders but they were but the directing force, not the sum of the meaning. That was at least my philosophy on running a country, and this was why I felt pride deep in my bones. I had made this possible, I had given these people the lives they now lived and we, as leaders, and people ourselves, had ensured the security of these people. My musings continued i this train of thought until I had seated myself down upon my desk-chair and watched Rimuru enter, his attire strictly regal and opulent. I almost laughed however as his face was anything but those attributes. He was awkwardly smiling, discomfort practically washing out from his expressions and mannerisms.

"Haha, it seems you are taking to this with ease!" I laughed openly as Shuna held back her own mischevious chuckle at my comment. It was obvious to see he was awkward about the entire get-up, but now? Yeah, he was practically blushing in shame.

"Why do I have to wear this stupid outfit?" He didn't even shout and just asked plainly, obviously over being humiliated. I held my chest and suppressed my chortles as I tried to recover enough to respond.

"B-because you are representing our nation. We can't go to a foreign land dressed in a white t-shirt and some baggy jeans, imagine the laughing stock they'd make of us." Rimuru grimaced but accepted the words, his mind having conversation with Great Sage again.

"Ah! But what about the perceived arrogance that people might have if we were to show such an opulent performance!" I knew he hadn't said that, it was Great Sage feeding him information and using percentile chances to possibly influence me... I could see through the Sage's ploys now.

"Nonsense, did you see how well the king of Dwargon was received despite his flashy and showy armours and golds? Yeah, you will wear something cool... Perhaps not that robe, but we could have something made for you, maybe some armour..." I gauged his reactions and saw he wasn't impressed by the armour thing, it most likely wasn't his style. I moved onto the next article of clothing.

"Ooh, maybe a trench coat and some awesome polished cobalt as decorations, to match with your aesthetic?" This got his attention as he practically screamed i want it by frowning as well as bouncing on his right leg a little at the same time.

'Heh, think you can slip out of this huh..?'

"Maybe you could even impress Shion, she certainly liked some of the clothes Shuna designed." Rimuru looked at Shuna and then back at me, my wife looking at me in understanding as she stepped forwards and spoke.

"Certainly Rimuru-sama, she has spoken a lot about how she likes my designs. Perhaps Rimuru-sama would like some clothes made by me?" He looked caged now, his expression half way between a fake smile and utter anxiety. With intense uses of my senses I could tell he was worried about going to Dwargon, especially without my assistance. It seemed my influence had stripped the confidence he should have had in the original anime. This sissy nonsense was beyond my vision of what Rimuru should be as a leader... He needed to regain his confidence fully.

'Gazel will notice much like I did, hopefully he can straighten him out, but now, I need to get a fire lit within him.'

"I-"

"Stop being a pussy. Take your work like a man and fucking do it. Rigurd, Geld and even Benimaru are currently working their asses off to get this nation off of its initial starting rails. We need a Rimuru who can fucking believe in himself, now, take the trench coat and the help from Shuna. I know you were a man in your last life and now you have been robbed of that by becoming a Slime, but you must cultivate it again... If a man from my age saw you acting like this he would beat you fucking bloody, just for shaming men." My tirade pissed him off on many levels but I could see he was starting to think it all over, why I had said that, why I had mentioned him becoming a slime and losing his 'manhood'. Shuna was just as surprised but understood that I did things for a reason and that now was one of those times I did things that most people couldn't understand.

"W-why are you speaking this way Silviana-san? What did I do to provoke this?" He seemed enraged at me, as if he couldn't computer why I had said such 'hurtful' things.

"I said it because I saw you trying to get out of going to Dwargon. I know that you are capable and that you can work properly, but you now need to man up and take care of your duty. You have impressed me and gained the love of everyone in this city with your love, dedication and forethought. But! You now need to learn confidence and rulership... Foreign nations will give little fucks about feelings or your morality's they will consider benefits and losses, risks and rewards, you should know this due to your past life."

He nodded slowly, still coming to terms with what I was saying.

"For this, I need to tell it straight to you. You are not man or woman at this stage, you are a slime. This is an advantage and disadvantage as you have capability to understand both sides but also experience both. If you cannot be confident in everything you do then there are people who will exploit the weaknesses they see or hear about... Especially Ainz, Albedo, Demiurge, Cocytus, Mare, Shalltear, Yuuki and god knows what else out there."

"I am not going to Dwargon just for trade negotiations, am I?"

"Finally, you understand. Yes, you are going there for trade negotiations. However, you are also there to meet you senior, Gazel, learn from him, foster relations with his nation diplomatically and also to train under his knights."

He looked at me in placid understanding, his entire aura switching to a more controlled and mature one, different than it had been since I first met him. Yeah, this was the real Rimuru, the one who was calm, cool and collected... Relying on his own ability as well as those of people around him. Ruler Rimuru was starting to emerge.

"Fine. But this is the last time that you hide intents from me Silviana." I narrowed my eyes but nodded, my hand reaching out to shake his, which he did. Respect had to be earned and he had flunked out on his a while back, including the lack of maturity I was seeing. Now, he had a way to earn it back and to learn who he was supposed to be, in a way he chose. Perhaps he would rather not be a ruler, sucks for me but I could understand. Maybe he would come to love leading and I could step back, chilling out with Milim and Shuna. The future would tell and before any of that could happen he needed to spend a week or two in Dwargon.

He said his goodbyes and left, Shuna leaving with him to aid in the creation of his new equipment, gown, whatever you wanted to call the thing. I was left brooding over the time schedule I had worked out. If Rimuru left this afternoon he would be gone for two weeks. The Falmuth Summoned people would come in a week's time, their army coming soon after that, about 3-4 days... That would leave Rimuru plenty of time to teleport or get back here, which is important. This meant I had only a week and a half to make certain that I could repel and reap the lives of every single member of the military they sent.

'The clock is ticking... An hourglass is tilting...' My irises flipped and soon my entire mind was broadcast a countdown to the time of when shit would hit the fan. I didn't know I had this ability but it was certainly helpful.
