A city where they have discovered a miracle that can make one immune to any disease or illness. Of course this sounded like a dream come true considering that his family has a history of being easily susceptible to diseases while also making their blood run literally hotter. Which can sometimes make them feel as if they are experiencing a super fever. So when John had nothing to lose when he lost everyone he cared about to an unknown animal that was the size of a small house that screamed like a wild banshee on its last breath, he decided to go to Yharnem to find this mystery cure in order to find this unknown animal and get revenge. But little did he know that by doing this he will get involved into something way beyond him.

A enjoyable life as a cat

I was walking down the street like any other day of my life. It was late and I was glad that it was, during the day people would laugh or beat me in alleys. I am homeless and have been so for 8 years, and I am 14 years old. During the night I will wander the streets. I will walk to a alley at a bakery, my therapist lives there and he helps enjoy what little I have. Today has been horrible I was a stress relief for some high schooler, and I can feel that he broke my ribs. With the little time I still have left I walk to the alley, breathing hurts and although I don’t express it anyone else other than me would be screaming from the pain. I walk in to the alley and wait, from the darkness two familiar yellow eyes stare at me for a moment. ''Meow'' a black cat walks from the darkness to my leg. I pick her up and rest my back against the wall, he sits in my lap and I stroke her. We cuddle like this until my vision begins to fade, I hug her close and tight, her purrs are the last thing I hear before my eyes close. ''You have suffered so much at the hands of others. In your next life I truly hope that you have a much better life. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.
