The Storm Dragon, Grinding and First Job!

Kai opened his eyes and found himself inside of a cave that was very familiar to him. Not that he had every been there before but it was the same cave his favorite anime character, Rimuru Tempest. Knowing where he was, Kai headed towards the mass amount of magic gathering.

On his way he heard, { Hello dear, I hope you got there fine. I sent you to the same place Rimuru started. Anyways, knowing that you chose Gojo's Six Eyes, I threw in a pair of sun glasses for you so you don't overstrain your eyes, just in case. Also I advise checking out the rest of your system options. }

Checking the right pocket on his black leather jacket. He put them on and asked, "What functions are there? I know you said there was a shop and job system but what else?"

"Most seem self-explanatory, lets see. Harem."

Arriving, he saw a massive dragon with black scales and white spikes protruding out of his shoulders and the crown of his head.

He walked to the edge of the barrier and said, "Yo, need some help?"

Veldora heard him and turned, amazed at how he couldn't sense him, almost a little fearful, and asked, "How was I not able to sense you? There has to be magicules in your body yet I couldn't feel a thing?"

Kai shrugged and replied, "Yeah, I do, I just hid them using my power over infinity. So enough about me, need some help?"

Veldora, as prideful as any dragon, crossed his arms and huffed, "I, The Storm Dragon Veldora, would never ask for help from a mere human. Even if I did there's nothing you could do to help."

"I ain't a human. Even if it seems like it, I'm not."

Veldora looked back and asked, "Then what are you, and if it is, how can you help, and what do you want in return?"

"I'm a dragon like you, my bloodline is just sealed for now. Also I can use my skill Predator and analyze the barrier from inside my skill's inventory. It will take time but it should be possible. As for what I want, I just want a friend here."

With his signature puppy dog eyes, Veldora looked at Kai and said, "Friends...."

With a deadpan stare Kai returned, "Yes."

Sarlyn cut in, { Dear, a heads up, you don't need Veldora's blessing like Rimuru did, my blessing is thousands of times better than his ever could be, so don't bother trying to get it out of him. }

"Hmm I'm for it. Lets see what this skill of yours can do, Friend."

"Sure, By the way, The name's Kai Kasani. Well, I'm gonna eat you now and kill some monsters nearby."

With that being said, Kai used predator along with his limitless skill was able to consume both the barrier and Veldora and stash it in his predator skill to be analyzed.

With Veldora gone, Kai had set out to go around the cave finding some monsters to raise his XP a bit, along the way, remembering to put any ore or herb in his inventory.

The first monster that Kai came across was a Black Serpent. To test out his abilities, he used blue, only at the size of a marble for 10 mana. The blue marble hit the serpent right on the underside of its neck, and caused the whole thing to crush itself around the marble, crushing it to death with ease. He walked up to the pile of mush that was the black serpent and used predator and learned the Poisonous Breath and Sense Heat Source. He also got a notification saying, '+75% XP' after it died.

'Huh, just like the anime, I got the same skills as Rimuru did from the black serpent. Lets see if the other monsters do the same.'

'From here I should find the Armorsaurus, Evil Centipede and Black Spider in the cave, then I can head out. This cave is massive though and I want to make sure I meet up with Eren at the entrance. How much time do I have left before they show up dear?'

{ You should have about three and a half weeks before that happens. Finding the Black Serpent took you a few days. If you find the other monsters first you can just wait at the entrance for Eren to show up, so better to finish them faster than slower. }

'True, lets head and get the rest of these skills and wait at the entrance.'

So, Kai made his way through the rest of the cave. He found The Armorsaurus after four days, which he used to test red on. Similar to blue, a single hit was all it took, however, this time, when it was hit, its body was blasted apart in many different directions and scattered across the room. This time, he got a 'Level Up!' notification. Not checking his level up just yet, Kai used predator on the Armorsaurus and acquired the 'Body Armor' skill.

Next was the Evil Centipede, which more accurately found him. Just like Rimuru, it gave him the 'Paralysis Breath' skill. But to defeat it, Kai tried out his physical strength. Mixed with the 'Body Armor' skill, his hand to hand combat was extremely powerful, enough to crack the shell and blow the monster across the room only to find it dead.

Lastly was the black spider which Kai did a similar thing to it using the 'Paralysis Breath' followed by a 'Body Armor' Punch, killing it on the spot. After killing both the centipede and the spider, Kai got a familiar 'Level Up!' notification after each one.

Finally making his way to the door after a total of three weeks and 4 days. Kai checked his level ups.

Predator (Active): Allows the host to consume creatures and gain their skills and abilities for himself.

Blessing of Sarlyn (Unique): A blessing from the dragon goddess Sarlyn that extends to all partners of the host.

-Draconic protection (Passive): The host is coated by the Divine Draconic aura of Sarlyn which protects them from a lethal attack and sending out a pulse of divinity, killing anything within a 15m radius around the host that is not protected by the same passive.

-Draconic Tongue (Passive): The host can understand and speak almost any language spoken by intelligent beings.

(A/N: This means he can't understand wolves howling or bears growling, only actual languages.)

- Ageless (Passive): The host cannot age and cannot be aged magically.

-Shapeshift (Active): The host can choose to look however they wish, body type, facial features, etc.
