A Dragons Beginning

In the beginning there was nothing.

Deep, dark, black nothingness that seemed to hold unlimited potential, almost like a painter's canvas waiting for the right being to come by and bring life into this dull portrait.

Then something changed, small almost microbial ripples in space began to move akin to a small pebble being dropped into a still, undisturbed lake.

And what began as small ripples quickly and violently began to turn into massive space distortions.

Until finally a gargantuan tear in space opened as a pair of two massive black draconian claws grabbed each side of the spatial tear and ripped it open even further.

Finally, once the tear seemed adequate enough, a massive black draconian head poked itself into the tear to face the nothingness, its size comparable to some of the largest celestial bodies known in existence.

Its head adorned with 4 gargantuan horn's seemingly forming a majestic crown, its slit eye's a deep crimson whose shade could only be compared to the largest and deepest vats of blood from the vampire realm.

From that head spoke a voice so deep and guttural that the very fabric of space shook upon listening.

"This sub-realm shall do nicely, all of dragon kind shall rely on the king that would emerge victorious from this space as the prophecies have foretold".

The large dragon then reached into his own pocket dimension and pulled out a seed-like object brimming with life and emitting mana like no other.

And as precious as the object would seem, emitting an aura of mana and life energy that seemed to be able to rival that of a star, the dragon simply tossed it into the void almost like tossing a coin into a wishing well.

Except unlike a coin, what happened after would shift the future into something no prophet or fortune teller could ever hope to predict or see.

*Bang*

The sound like a clap of thunder on a dimensional scale, and light fierce enough to blind even the strongest of some race's powerhouses flashed for a mere moment before what appeared in front of the dragon's eyes after was simply majestic to say the least.

Before it laid a fully rotating and fleshed out galaxy, except unlike most, this one drowned in the most pure mana any sub-dimension or lower world could have ever hope to enjoy.

Of course to the dragon, it was like a great white shark from the ocean looking down at a freshwater aquarium.

"Hmmm, this is the greatest hatching realm the dragon clan has made to date, it's good that none of the elders chose to skimp out on materials for our future King".

The dragon then reached into his pocket dimension once again, and pulled out 99 dragon eggs of different assortments and shades of color and size.

Lightly giving the eggs one last look over, the dragon then casually waved his hand and tossed them into the galaxy at random.

"Let luck decide on those it's chosen, and the rest shall be nourishment and fertilizer for others to climb upon".

He said with indifference, not a shred of care for what may happen to any of those eggs.

However, the next second his eyes turned into those of a caring father as he pulled one last egg out of his pocket space.

The color of the egg was of the deepest black of the abyss with tiny specks of color all along its shell, like a black opal, and its size that of a 12 ft tall, oval shaped boulder.

The dragon held the egg in his palm, stroking its shell with the gentlest of care and spoke in the softest of tone.

"And you, my son, whom me and your mother poured every ounce of treasure and enhancing elixir we had into, and whom we believe with every fiber of our being shall be the great savior of our people".

"I will give you one last gift before we shall be able to meet again".

Said the dragon, as he pulled out a drop of blood whose multi-colored radiance rivaled that of the scene when the world seed erupted.

"The heart blood of the first dragon that appeared from the primordial chaos when time itself began".

"Those old lizards will probably have a heart attack when they find out the ancestors' blood has been taken from the royal treasury, but they can't do anything since it's already been used, Hahaha".

He laughed as the blood infused into the eggshell completely, almost immediately the entire egg started to vibrate and shake violently, seemingly as if it would explode the next second, and shined with a dark radiance like that of a black hole.

However nothing ever happened after a couple of moments, as the radiance receded and the shaking gradually subsided.

But that was only the calm before the storm.

The dragon smiled a toothy grin as he watched the egg turn into a black hole of mana, as it sucked in all that it could.

Mana began to concentrate so much onto the egg that it began to crystallize onto the shell, making it look like one humongous mana stone.

The dragon waited for quite a while until finally, the mana stopped being sucked in and the egg was thoroughly fossilized inside it and proceeded to toss the even larger 24 ft tall boulder into what the dragon saw to be the most optimal place for a baby dragon to find its bearings and quickly gain a base of power.

"We shall see each other in 100 years my son, well for me it's 100, for you it should be about 100,000 or so, hahaha".

The dragon laughed as he withdrew his head and claws from the special tear, closing behind him seamlessly as if he was never there in the first place.

What the black dragon didn't know was that the dragon born from the bloodshed and conquest within this realm would be a lot more than just a king, but a downright villain that put the fear of existence into all the enemies that crossed him and the joy of life to all that loved and respected him.

His very name brought awe to all that knew it, and would be carved into every history book as an emperor with no enemies, as they no longer breathed to tell the tale.

His name, Osiris.
