Black mud and water from all four directions came crashing down onto his body, but the light veil was able to deflect it all.

Using his clairvoyance with his right eye, he looked around to realize that he was completely surrounded by mud.

He was still sinking – the Gravity Swamp was probably hundreds of meters deep; one couldn't judge the depth of a swamp from its surface. Qingfeng Li also realized that the black mud around him was highly corrosive, eating away at his defensive light veil and ready to dissolve his body.

No wonder the other self-cultivators would vanish once they fell into the swamp – they were all eaten up by this black mud.
