In the place I came from, I was the greatest fighter to ever exist, or so I think of myself. Don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t an officer, nor some glorious soldier. I was just a slave. Back then, survival was everything. But I was greedy. I had brothers in slavery I wanted to protect. I overstepped my place, challenged people beyond my rank, people I shouldn’t have challenged. I dreamed of things slaves were never meant to dream of. In the end, we all died. As we should have. When I opened my eyes again, I found myself inside the Tower, a place where people came to gain power, wealth, and glory. So why am I here? For me, it became a place where everyone seemed to want me dead. Still… I want to live. I want to live as a free man, not someone’s property. What else matters now that my brothers are dead? I’ll forge a fake family, a fake background, a fake life that was never mine. I’ll observe this world, learn its common sense, and become someone new. And I’ll kill anyone who tries digging into my past. To survive this Tower, be it impossible trials, trying not to get eaten, stabbed, cursed, arrested, betrayed, or adopted by strange old legends. But no matter what happens… I’ll keep living as a free man. Oh, I carry a curse too?… It doesn’t matter… I’ll be hunted for it?… Bruh… that’s fine! But more importantly… Why are these bastards acting overly friendly?

A fair warning before we begin. If you are reading for brainrot or seeking a quick dopamine hit, turn back now. This isn't for you. A hundred chapters in. A second review. The author needed a summary, so here it is. Consider this a mild spoiler warning. I will keep it vague, but you will have to connect the dots yourself. The story begins as many tragedies do. The protagonist is a slave. Then, he dies... or perhaps he doesn't. He awakens and faces an Administrator probably, who just sends him to die. At the same time, another entity too powerful wants him to live. What leads to a brutal, agonizing loop of death. Eventually, a memory fragment from that overpowered entity becomes his winning card. Of course, surviving is never as simple as that. Whatever secret is tied to his abnormal entry, the Tower's normal reward system is disabled. Instead, the owner of that memory grants him a different system entirely, one that lets him pull items from outside the Tower I guess? He has two status windows, and both are constantly glitching. Yet, in a brilliant defiance of trending tropes... he has no inventory. Every other character in the book has one. Upon reaching the second floor, he stumbles into two strong old men who are just... lingering and an orange car. Naturally, he proceeds to beat a few hapless new ascenders half to death, somehow accidentally acquiring a ragtag group of lackeys who are now forced to call him Boss. As for the antagonists... Necromancers, Ancient clans, Fanatics hunting the undead, which is particularly problematic considering the protagonist is highly suspected of being undead himself. Honestly, I am concerned. By the time this academy arc concludes, there might not be a single soul left on his side. Welp, I suppose that is about everything. The writing quality is almost flawless.
