Fairy Tail: Jinchuriki

On a dry and rocky land far from cities and towns, there is a massive building shaped like a crescent moon.

It is the building of the Bureau of Magical Development, located in the Land of Isvan, on the Continent of Ishgar.

This is the place where a lot of things regarding magic are being researched. Their magic research seems to be for the Continent's good, but they will do even unacceptable things for that, including sacrificing people for their research.

They even experiment on children. One of those children is this silver-haired boy with dark skin. He was sent by an orphanage that they managed to find children with magic power that they can use for experiments.

Of course, these human experiments are secrets that only a few know. The public doesn't know about this or they will condemn the organization and ask for it to be closed.

There are quite a lot of children and adults being experimented here. Most of them are used to test magical developments they have been researching.

However, this dark-skinned silver-haired boy is different. He was brought here because he has something special that piqued their interests.

This boy has an overflowing magic power that often gets out of control. He will transform into a strange beast when he loses control of his magic power.

That's why now he is being confined in an isolated room. He has chains holding his limbs, neck and body to prevent him from rampaging when he loses control.

It's been around 2 years since he was brought to this facility. Every day is like living in hell for him, but he keeps enduring even though he thinks of dying every day too.

He knows death will stop his suffering, but he doesn't want to die, he wants to live. At the very least, he doesn't want to die before killing these bastards who torment him every day.

Today again, they inject a lot of magic power into his body. They do this every day to make him lose control and transform into his beast form.

These scums are interested in his beast form that is very different from the same magic the world knows.

There is a magic type named Take Over, a type of Transformation Magic. As its name suggests, this magic is used to essentially "take over" other entities' power.

Normally, the user needs to use this magic on another being to take its power. For example, one needs to find an ape and use this magic on that ape to take over its power.

There are 5 known Take Over types. They are Animal Soul, Beast Soul, Machina Soul, Satan Soul, and God Soul.

The boy's Take Over is deemed as Beast Soul type. However, no one knows what kind of Beast that the boy transforms into. There's no record of that beast in any of their literatures.

Furthermore, that boy has been in the orphanage they managed since he was but a newborn. No one ever taught him magic and no one knows when or how he got that Beast Soul.

What piques their interest even more is how the boy's personality changes every time he transforms. No, it's more like the beast takes over the mind whenever he transforms.

His beast form is like a humanoid brown dog with some dark blue markings all over its body. The beast's belly is big and its legs are very short, making it looks quite funny.

But the beast has big and long hands. Its tail is also big and long. It actually can manipulate the size of its arms and tail, so the researchers don't know if it's the beast's actual size.

Then, it also has the ability to control sand, which almost caused a big problem in the facility back then. That's why now his room is fully made out of metal.

After he transforms, the scum researchers will use different attacks from magical to physical attacks to see how he reacts.

They only stop after he runs out of magic power and stops his transformation which takes a few hours because he has a lot of magic power and they even inject more into his body.

Today is just like any other day, or so he thought. After they are done tormenting him, the scumbags actually bring another child.

It's a little girl with black hair and they put her in the cell room across his room. The distance between their rooms is quite far, but he can see the little girl clearly.

His eyes widen when he sees that little girl and then a very strong pain assaults his head. He even screams very loudly from that pain even though he almost never screams when he's being tortured.

It startles the researchers, but they only observe him, trying to see if today's experiments are showing a different result.

The little girl is cowering in fear when she sees the boy in pain. She obviously knows that she will end up like that too soon.

A while later, the boy stops screaming as he loses consciousness. The researchers are disappointed because there's nothing else happening other than the boy being in pain.

3 hours later, the boy wakes up. He still feels some pain in his head, so he gets up slowly and sits while leaning on the wall.

The boy looks at his body and his surroundings before sighing. The look in his eyes has changed so much from before, like he is a different person now.

"Sigh, what a messy situation. To think that I am now in the world of Fairy Tail. I would be very happy to be here if not for my current situation and condition."

The boy actually recovered the memory of his past life just now. He died in a traffic accident on his way back home from work. A drunk driver hit him from the front while he rode his scooter.

He died on the spot, but then he found himself in a dark room. A sexy woman claiming to be a Goddess suddenly appeared and asked if he wanted to live.

Of course he was, so the woman told him she would reincarnate him in a fantasy world, the world of Fairy Tale. She said she would even give him great power to help him live here.

"Tsk! I knew it was too good to be true. She didn't even ask me to do anything. Being tortured here must be the price of blindly believing her. I don't know about power, but she surely is the reason I suffered here for 2 years."

Those isekai MCs usually have great lives right from the start. So he thought he would be the same, but instead, he became a lab rat.

"I swear I'll punch her in the face if we ever meet again. If she can't give me a good start, then at least don't give me a painful start."

The boy sighs as he calms himself. There's nothing he can do about what has happened, after all. So he just needs to think of what to do from now on.

He looks at the crying little girl in the opposite room. His memory returned after seeing that little girl and he doesn't know why.

"Hey, you, crybaby."

The little girl feels called, so she looks at the boy while still sobbing.

"Stop crying. It won't help you here."

But she keeps sobbing even after he says that kindly.

"Sigh. Hey, do you have a name?"

She doesn't reply.

"Seriously now?"

It irritates him, but he lets it because he knows the girl still needs time to calm herself. Rather, he realizes he is too impatient to say those things to the little girl.

While he waits for the girl to stop crying, the boy tries to organize his mind. The memories of his past life and this life are jumbled up, so he is feeling very confused with many things.

It takes quite a long time to organize his messy memories and thoughts. But a lot of his memories are missing. He can't even remember his past life's name.

He can remember things he did in his past life like playing with his siblings. But strangely, he can't remember how his siblings look and what their names are.

"That frickin Goddess must have done something with my memories. It's so strange that the only clear memories are about the novels and mangas I read, or the anime and movies i watched instead of my daily life."

Thankfully, he still retains his knowledge even though his daily life's memories have been erased by that Goddess that now he thinks of as a Devil instead.

A while after he finishes organizing his thoughts, the boy wants to check what kind of power he actually has. But then the little girl suddenly calls him timidly.

"U-um....."

"Yeah?"

"T-this.... Where is this? Why am I here?"

"Hmm, well, how should I explain it?"

The boy is troubled because he doesn't know how to explain it to the little girl. This girl seems to be around his current body's age, or even a little younger, so he doesn't know if she will understand his explanation.

But there's something the boy is more curious about the girl because his memories suddenly return to him after he sees her even though he doesn't recognize her.

"Before that, can you tell me your name?"

Maybe after knowing her name, he will know why his memories return just by seeing her after all these years.

"M-my name? It's Ultear."

The boy's eyes widen when he hears her name. He gets a lot of realizations as soon as he hears that name.
