In the vast universe of iconic series and movies, police cases and gánster plots intertwine in a broader tapestry. From Banshee Town, a story emerges where the impossible becomes part of everyday life. Characters from dramas like Chicago P.D., Walker, Texas Ranger, Jack Reacher, Hunter, Person of Interest, and Bones find their fates intertwined with that of Ethan Morgan, the protagonist. In a world where crossovers defy expectations, Ethan has a clear mission: to break the predetermined narrative, save those characters destined to disappear, and, most importantly, survive amidst the chaos.
Location:
Banshee Town, Pennsylvania.
Inside the Miles restaurant, the traveler curiously observed the police station across the parking lot. On the exterior red brick wall of the police station, the four characters "CADI" stood out particularly.
As a lover of American TV series, when he saw the strange yet familiar building, he immediately recognized it as the police station of Banshee Town from the series Banshee.
Merged with the memories of the original owner, Ethan Morgan discovered that he was Morgan's son, the former sheriff of the town. After graduating from the Philadelphia Police Academy, Ethan Morgan unexpectedly turned down the opportunity to work at the Philadelphia Police Department and came home to reunite with his father, who was the police chief here.
Unfortunately, old man Morgan was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer. After the father arranged Ethan's job through his connections, he fell seriously ill and passed away. Less than two days after the funeral, Ethan drove to the precinct to apply for a job.
He only stopped for lunch, but his head was still numb from the events after his death, and the journey to this point, a world where American TV series and movies converge.
Ethan found the bathroom, turned on the tap, took a handful of water, and vigorously dried his face.
Looking at himself in the mirror, Ethan was quite satisfied with his appearance after time traveling. He felt a bit like Keanu Reeves when he was young.
I straightened my short, black hair, turned off the tap, and returned to my seat.
Looking at the half-eaten, cold macaroni, Ethan lost his appetite.
He took the bills out of his wallet, placed them under the plate, crossed the parking lot, and opened the glass door of the police station.
An African American woman was sitting behind the reception desk, put down the newspaper she was holding, and looked at Ethan inquisitively.
-Mister, what's wrong?
-Hi, I'm here to complete the onboarding procedures.
-Ethan Morgan?
After seeing Ethan nod, the black aunt happily left the reception and gently hugged him.
-I've been waiting for you for a long time. Brock said you would come today. The old sheriff is a good man. God bless him. Call me Alma. That's all.
-Thank you, Alma, and where is Officer Lotus?
-He's patrolling outside. I'll ask him to come back now. Wait nearby.
Alma returned to her seat, picked up the radio, and called.
After sitting in the chair against the wall, Ethan curiously looked at the design of the police station.
The old police station was destroyed by a fire a few years ago. The current police station was renovated from a bankrupt 4S Cadillac store. There was also a classic Cadillac parked near the window.
There were a few desks in the middle of the hallway, next to the Sheriff's Office.
A few minutes later, the glass door opened.
A police officer dressed in a dark blue uniform entered. He was a middle-aged white man with a fat belly, and his head shone in the sun.
Ethan immediately recognized him as Officer Brock Lotus from the Banshee Town Police Department. The original owner also met him at old Morgan's funeral.
Ethan stood up and approached him, shaking his hand.
-Good morning, Officer Lotus, I am here today to complete the entry procedures, please excuse me.
-From now on, we will all be colleagues, just call me Brock.
After Brock greeted Alma, he patted Ethan on the shoulder and motioned for him to follow.
After adjusting his belt, Brock sat in his office chair and then looked at Ethan with concern.
-Are you sure you don't need to rest for a few more days? After all, your father just passed away.
Ethan sat in the chair in front of him and shook his head.
-No, I just want to get to work as soon as possible.
Brock nodded.
"Alright, you have the final say."
Then he took several documents from the table and handed them to Ethan with a pen.
-Look at it. If nothing happens, sign it.
-It's just a formality. Chief Morgan made all the arrangements before his death. You also graduated from the police academy, so there's no problem.
After taking the document, Ethan casually flipped through it and signed his name. These were standard documents, not commercial contracts, so he only needed to have a rough understanding of them.
Brock organized the files and put them back in the drawer.
-Welcome to the Banshee Town Police Department. You can come to work tomorrow. Then I'll introduce you to other colleagues.
-That's fine, thank you. So I'll come back tomorrow.
Ethan and Brock said goodbye to Alma and left.
There was a reason the original owner left Philadelphia and ran back to the small town of the United States: as long as you mess with someone you shouldn't or take something you shouldn't take, problems will definitely come knocking at your door.
After Ethan Morgan attended the graduation party, he went to the bar to hang out alone. With his good looks, he hooked up with a fiery Spanish girl.
After fighting all night, they chased him down three streets with a gun before he had time to get dressed.
If he continued staying in Philadelphia, sooner or later the gunman would come to his door. After the original owner, gripped by panic, returned to his residence, he quickly packed his bags and ran to Banshee Town.
Now this problem had become his, but Ethan was not worried. Returning to the Ford F150 parked in the lot, he thought, and a translucent light screen appeared before his eyes.
Name: Ethan Morgan
Combat Skill: Novice
He has gained some practice and shows better coordination and control in the fight.
Skill with firearms: Novice
He has practiced a bit more and has better control of the weapon.
Dimensional space: one cubic meter
Skill points: 0
Beginner mission: Join the Banshee Town Police Department - Completed.
This was the system he found after time traveling, and it was also the source of his confidence. With the system in his body, he just needed to give himself time to grow. The system panel was very simple and could even be described as crude.
The status of the beginner task changed. Ethan clicked the completion button and the beginner task disappeared. The new mission didn't appear, and he didn't care. He communicated with the system when he first traveled through time, but there was no response at all. His system was quite rudimentary.
Ethan checked again and found two more things in the dimensional space.
A blue book and a glass tube filled with red liquid.
His mind moved towards the object and a text description appeared.
"Skill Book: +1 skill points after use, which can be used to improve skill level."
"Potion to improve physical condition: enhances physical fitness after consumption."
He took out the space skill book without hesitation and opened it. The next moment, the book turned into a point of light and disappeared from his hand.
The skill points on the system panel also changed from 0 to 1.
At the same time, there was an additional + sign behind the combat skills or Firearms Dexterity.
Considering his upcoming career, fighting could be improved later, but marksmanship was urgent, so he decisively clicked on the + sign at the back of the skill.
When the (+) sign disappeared, the level of the pistol also changed from novice to competent. After a sharp pain in Ethan's head, many experiences about shooting guns suddenly came to his mind.
Ethan rubbed his fingers, then assumed the stance of holding a weapon, quickly raising and lowering his arm and repeating the action several times, as if he had received extensive training.
After regaining his senses, Ethan looked at the physical enhancement potion in the space, not knowing what changes this bottle of mysterious red liquid could bring him. However, he still resisted the urge to take out the physical enhancement potion and drink it. After all, he was in a car in the parking lot.
Not knowing what would happen after drinking, Ethan decided to go home first.
He turned the key in the ignition, started the engine, and firmly turned the steering wheel to drive in the direction of his father's house.
